A n00bs first cycle - Test E

Week 4 pin 4

Fuck me I fucked that one up! Into my less favoured left glute this time and increased dose to 525mg.

I only went and pinned too low and hit a motherfucking nerve. Luckily I only pinned 0.20ml and it hurt like fuck, I know nerve pain very well, we're dear friends, so took that shit out immediately and reccy'd the site. Definitely too low and too far inside and it bled quite a bit.

Waited a few minutes then pinned again this time in the correct spot and 1.5ml went in easily. Foam rolled for 5 minutes. I'm gonna be sore as fuck tomorrow, I know that much.

I measured out the pin site but must have lost where it was to go by the time I swabbed and got the needle ready. Lesson learnt!

So now running 525mg per week and 0.50 arimidex e3d.
 
So although i fucked my last pin up and hit a nerve the actual pip was barely even noticeable. Did have some nerve pain yesterday but seems to be dying down now but still there and i get the odd burst of pain at the top of my left glute/lower back and my left nut too.

Have some concerns about my estrogen levels and worried it might be too high or too low as i have symptoms of both. I guess this shit is what you deal with on your first cycle as you try to figure out how the fuck your body is reacting so you know exactly wtf is going on as you gain more experience.

Ive been a lot more aggressive during sets in the gym, could be the extra 225mg test or could be placebo of the increase but definitely more explosive. Nothing of note in terms of lifting heavier, i always increase weight by 2.5-5kg and reduce reps every week anyway and it doesnt seem any easier.

Oh and im eating like fuck, looking forward to weighing in on friday.
 
Was supposed to take 0.50mg arimidex today but have decided to leave it for now in case my estrogen is too low. If I start getting high estro symptoms will start again. Getting the AI right is the hardest part for me as a newbie but I think it's better to have high estrogen than crashing it until I work this shit out.

Couldn't wait until tomorrow to weigh myself so did it this morning and weighed in 1 kg heavier than I was on Monday. So currently sitting at 78.5kg (173lb), was 77.5 kg (170.86lb) 3 days ago. Pretty happy with that, almost 10lbs added in 4 weeks so far.

Caught some of the young guns checking me out at the gym today, not sure if they're noticing a difference or if it's just paranoia but I definitely feel bigger. Maybe they wanted me to just leave the nuts hanging out (they are Gym Shark wearers).

I work from home every day so been counting down the hours until my girl finishes work and visits so I can annihilate her.

Ordering in some Anavar. I may or may not do 50mg a day for the last 4 weeks of cycle. Would like to have them on hand just in case.

I'm also considering starting PCT 1 week after last test pin. I don't want test levels to be subnormal by time I start PCT plus PCT takes a couple weeks to kick in.

Thoughts? Experience?

I haven't done my test e cycle yet but from what I have read it's usually 2 to 3 weeks after the last pin to start pct, someone else will probably confirm for you tho.
 
If you start pct while exogenous test is still in your body it won't do anything and from some posts I've read it can desensitize your boys or at the very least reduce your chances of a successful pct. I would wait 2-3 weeks for your test to clear. This is just from my research on the subject.

At~4000 tt it would take 3 half life's (~21 days) for your tt to reach ~500. My natty t is a little above that so 21+ days after my last pin would be the appropriate time for me to start my pct and would give me the best chance of recovering.
 
If you have the option, change to test p for the last 2-3 weeks of your cycle. This will allow the test e to pass and you can start PCT much sooner at the ends of the cycle. 2-3 days, rather than 2-3 weeks. It's more frequent pinning for a few weeks but it's worth it to not have a long lull while your t levels are crashing.

I think you're wrong here bro, it takes a couple weeks for PCT to start working, when you take your last shot your test will start tapering down and then go subnormal, if you wait 2-3 weeks then add say 2 weeks for PCT to kick in, that's potentially 3 weeks you're gonna be running at subnormal test levels, fuck that mate, no wonder people struggle so much emotionally when going by the 2-3 week rule. Subnormal test + elevated e2? But I'm a n00b, I may be wrong and I'd like to be corrected. I love learning.

Yeah I've read this also but it all seems to be anecdotal as with a lot of things in this game. I have also read a lot of people talking from experience saying they started a week after last pin and recovered much much better than they did when waiting 2-3 weeks. Now I'm all for reading and understanding the science, the theory, however I much rather find out what works in practice from people that have tried both.

To me, 7-10 days makes sense if using Nova/Clomid for PCT because they appear to be more effective while the esters are tapering down.

The reason I joined this forum was to tap into everyone's experience, if I read 1000 articles saying one thing but read 100 guys saying the opposite, I trust the 100 guys are correct. There's a lot of BS online with a lot of people trying to look clever, but I guarantee a high percentage of the people writing those articles are basing it from some medical book rather than real life tests. Real life wins every time for me.

I think to be safe, I might go down the prop route and start PCT 2-3 days after last pin. I want to book a holiday this summer and because of the timing it's gonna be well into August before my PCT is done if I wait 2-3 weeks after last pin.
 
@hammertime I could be wrong. But thats what I've read and I've never tried pct 1 week after last pin. The prop route will give you 2 weeks for the test e to lower. And if you wanted you could try the one week after last pin and get blood work after and see how you recovered. if it works then who knows I may give it a shot.

Yeah that's what I'm gonna do bro, I think using the prop definitely gives you better accuracy on when to start PCT.
 
So an update. Been a shitty few days.

1. I'm struggling to figure out if my e2 is too high or too low, have symptoms of both. bloods kit came a few days ago so im ready to get e2 and test levels tested this week which will be week 5. Will tell me for sure if im too high or too low.

2. Nuts have been super tight and sitting high, going inside stomach when balls deep so i got a couple preggo tests to test my hcg and both came back negative so ive been taking bunk hcg for 4 weeks. Luckily i was prepared for that and ordered pharma grade stuff in week one. Also going to test this for peace of mind.

3. I keep all my gear in a big jiffy bag hidden at the back of wardrobe. When i went in to find new hcg i noticed shit was covered in oil. Sure enough my vial of test somehow managed to get upside down and leaked everywhere. Fuck! I reckon i lost 2-3 ml. Luckily again, id ordered two 10ml vials of test e a few weeks ago so im good, but im still fucking pissed off i lost some gear. Am now keeping it upright at the back of a drawer.

Aside from that im feeling ok and im 100% noticing size gains. My traps look bigger and my tris seem to have exploded over the last few days and this is just the start! Wtf am i gonna look like by the end of it?

Still eating like a madman and making sure im hitting those protein numbers. Just need to get this e2 in check and im g2g.
 
Im at 600mg a week of test e 300mg on monday and 300mg on thursday. Since last week I have been taking .5mg of arimidex every other day. The thing with e2 is that it makes u hold a lot of water. I noticed that when its too high my pissing isnt as frequent. I basically piss less than the water I drink. And my streams of piss are thinner. Also I am more bloated. But as soon as I hit that adex i piss like crazy, lose the bloat, and my streams of piss are very thick and powerful. Also when Im bloated I cant get my wedding ring off hahaha. All of this is not scientific at all but this is what I have used personally to gauge my e2. I also feel better when I take my adex.

Anyway get those bloods done and let us know whats happening.
 
Here's roughly what im eating on an average day.

Breakfast - Pre workout

4 or 5 cups of coffee between breakfast and pre workout
bowl of sugar free muesli with 400ml semi skimmed milk
1 scoop gold standard whey
10 gummy bears pre workout

Post workout/lunch

1 scoop gold standard whey
a bagel with 4/5 tbsp tuna mayo
20 gummy bears post workout

Dinner

2 chicken breasts
1 cup sweet potato
1 cup broccoli
pile of cous cous/rice

Late evening

A cinnamon raisin bagel with peanut butter
1 scoop gold standard casein

This takes me to around 3400 cals, was previously on 2850 per day. TDEE was 2364 prior to cycle, now 2475.

sometimes i have some chocolate of some sort or ice cream or pancakes after dinner so in reality im probably taking in around 3700 cals.

Any thoughts/suggestions? How much cals can i get away with taking in without adding too much fat while on cycle?

10:00 shake (pb, whey, milk) - 72/32/30

12:00 workout

2:00 1 scoop whey (post workout) 24/0/1

4:00 16 oz sirloin steak - 104/60/0
4:00 1/2 cup rice - 8/0/74

6:00 9 oz pork loin - 66/9/0
6:00 1/2 cup rice - 8/0/74

8:00 9oz pork loin - 66/9/0

10:00 shake (pb, whey, milk) - 72/32/30

Total - ~4000cals 377p/165f/239c

*pork is swapped out with chicken some weeks.

I have now split all this into 7 meals throughout the day.
 
Also have a banana pre workout, forgot to add that but too late to edit post.

Just smashed chest and tris, increased strength and endurance is now evident. Did my usual adding 2.5kg weight from last week on incline bench press but it was for too easy on first set so had to increase by a further 5kg to push me at 8 reps. Incline dumbell flyes up 8kg, tricep pressdown up 10kg with supersets coming out my ears.

Caught myself in the mirror looking like i was gonna explode on final reps. Fuck knows what others must think. Pretty sure i was making some straining noises but i couldnt hear shit with my headphones on so fuck it.

Week 6 pin 6

Back into my less favoured left glute again today and it wasn't pretty, fuck it I aint going there again. For some reason I find it much harder to turn round to see what I'm doing when I do left glute, right glute is A-ok. Anyway fuck knows what I did but there was a little pain when injecting then when I withdrew the skin had a bump about 1" wide by 0.5" and redness about 2" by 2".

Foam rolled for 5-10 mins and it burned like fuck, I almost had to stop but I kept going. For 10 mins afterwards I felt light-headed. Fast forward 6 hours and the skin is still kinda pink. I think I went in at too much of an angle so I may have missed the muscle completely or partially.

The other thing is I only had 1ml of my current vial left so I drew 0.52ml from a new vial. I was told this gear was the same batch as the first one, but let's say it wasn't, there shouldn't be any issues should there?

Anyway chest and biceps today for high reps and killed it.

incline bench press 7 sets of 15 + rest pause to failure on last set
incline dumbell flyes 4 sets of 15 + rest pause to failure on last set
incline cable flyes 4 sets of 15 + rest pause to failure on last set
barbell curl 5 sets of 15 + rest pause to failure on last set

Felt like my fucking biceps were gonna pop any minute.

Anyone get forearm pumps on test only? Hurt like fuck today and had to stop on a few sets to let it ease off before finishing the set. Same thing with fucking shoulders, my form is pretty good but I've noticed my delts hurt during a shitload of exercises, bench, curls, tri pushdowns almost to the point where I'm considering not training delts at all.
 
For me the forearm and shoulder things were there as well lol. I considered doing the same thing for shoulders man. And there shouldn't be any issues with your gear. If it is a reoccurring problem even in different areas I would drop that batch though.
