Yeah, big thanks to the vets. My wife and I were just talking yesterday about the recent rash of assholes trying to compare their music/film careers to fighting in combat. Dunno how people can get so delusional

Dr scally has the right idea thank these guys today. Thank us vets on veterans day. But the gesture means well so thanks guys, and to everyone have a happy memorial day.
Got many relatives on that wall , so does the wifey . Thank You .
I plan on raising a beer or two this afternoon in honor and remembrance of the Marines, Soldiers and Sailors that gave their all for this country and their brothers beside them.

As there was no alternative, that’s one war in which the sacrifices of so many was worth the bounty.
Yeah, but looking at the history of Sweden, and how they fought during WW2, they were tough people.

Sweden was lucky, we was not occupied during WW2, we were neutral. But i’am quite sure that was just a matter of time before the germans had occupied us. So we where not so tough.
We supplied germany with swedish steel, so hm.. not so tough.
But thats politics.
We were a lot tougher in some other war during the 16th - 19th century. We was in war with Russia, Denmark, Norway, Poland (not at the same time).
