Let me start off by saying I am mixed race. Mostly african american,some random white, some jew.

@insertnamehere , that actually looks like it could be interesting. They didnt focus on it but it looks like they talk to other races besides white and get a debate going. As long as its constructive it's a good conversation to have. And everyone here knows themselves. If youre not racist theres nothing to worry about.

Yeah I completely agree about the double standard because at the end of the day im sure there are way more other people from the other races that are racist towards whites than there are whites that are racist towards other races. Technically we've got nothing to be mad about we set the standard and most of them fall below it.

Finally there is a divide in this country. A little race based maybe, but mostly economy based. Poor white people have it bad. As do poor blacks, mexicans, etc. If you go to the south or a lot of other places the poor all live in the same neighborhoods and have the same issues. Just my 3 cents. I added an extra.

To me your post initially came off as having racial undertones.

Why is this "illegal alien director" portraying all white people in the same light. When it comes to race there will always be a double standard that works both ways.
It is up to the individual to decide on weather or not they are comfortable enough to not let it bother them and just keep on living. Not saying your opinion is not important , but like I said before seems like your beef is with the director and the so called liberal media.

I think its funny how its 2015 and a persons race can still cause such a debate.

Im white but grew up poor and ghetto, made everything of myself. When I went to college I did see alot of people that I would classify and privileged, stuck up and ignorant. I have cousins like this actually and dislike the fuck out of them. They arent racist per say but they do look down on other races. One might say they are ethnocentric, but that can be applied to any culture.

Overall I think the documentary is bullshit but very fitting for mtv. We couldnt afford mtv as a kid, shit was for the rich folks. Im white and you can call me a cracker, redneck, priveleged or whatever else you want. It doesnt bother me because I could care less about my skin color.

Dont let someone else opinions affect your life, I try not to stoop down to that level. I have much more important things to worry about than someones opinions.

I prefer to be lumped into a racial group the government considers privileged. Those racial groups the government is so concerned with helping are fucked. All those programs and subsidies and preferential treatment laws (e.g. Affirmative Action) makes it extremely difficult for any of them to rise above their present status. My puerto rican friend is in that same group. I like to call him the chameleon. When we go clubbing he can be either black or latino, he can pull hood rats from both sides of the fence. Even white hos.

One time we went to a completely non white club called Club Caribe and he got all kinds of bitches, little ozzy didnt even get any left overs. Being white held me back that day

She didn't give 2 shits that I was actually white though. Me checking the block still counts and they can't ask you to prove your racial makeup (unless you are claiming to be American Indian for some things).

As far as they were concerned I was a welcome percentage addition to the company hiring statistics. Reality be damned.

I have never identified myself as Caucasian on any demo form since. Seemed counterproductive.

He's got long hair and lots of tatoos, he's a skater/metal head type.

When we are out at the bars a lot of girls will think he's Mexican/ Latino and try to talk to him, but he doesn't speak a lick of Spanish. Luckily I do or else he would be missing out on a lot of good panocha.

Oh he also kind of looks like Lou diamond Phillips in young guns or perhaps an American Eskimo.

I think @jaymaximus hit the nail on the head. It's not about racism, or perceived racism, it's about classism. Rich vs poor. What the media fails to display is that there are just as many, if not more, poor whites per capita, as there are any other race. They show the poverty and hardships of minorities without ever shining a light on whites going through the same struggles. Not every white person is a CEO or millionaire... and that's how we're portrayed. This false 'privilege' is complete bullshit. Privilege comes with money, not with color.

The media and acedemia are born out of the 60's where when they were young they formed a twisted brow of what this country is really about and the good it has done and could do for humanity if returned to the principals laid out in the constitution. Im no racist I don't blame the black community I blame the proggresives who have done this to them I have black friends I have black people who I respect greatly ask yourself why would a government offer a mother more $ if she stays single and keeps the father out of the house children need their father's girls need their fathers so they don't go looking for male attention at a young age and sleeping around to get that attention boys need to learn how to be a man from a father so they can grow up to be a good man and the father is the disiplanarian which is needed so why give incentive to run the father off?
