Yeah, last time I went to Anchorage, a few months back, the first place I hit up was taco bell. Got a crunch wrap supreme, beefy 5 layer, and one of those new chicken strip burritos.... all of it tasted like garbage lol.... well, the crunch wrap tasted good, but the "crunchy" tortilla inside was soggy as hell. And the beefy 5 layer was basically all beans.... chicken thing I couldn't even eat because it was horrible from the first bite.

Thats it , keep telling yourself the food there is putrid (it is)....your so much better off making your own burrito's & taco's .

Ever tryed bacon taco's ? Just cook up your HB meat and add taco seasoning and add (baked) crispy bacon bits to it . Big favorite with the masses . Use fresh baby spinach leaves instead of iceburg lettuce (yuk)

I've perfected a rub that I use to smoke pork buts and ribs 15 years ago. It also goes well on skinless chicken thighs, it is about 22 different spices. Anyway this is enough chicken for supper and lunch tomorrow

Went to a Korean / Filipino restraunt

Beef Caldereta. A filipino dish with beef short ribs, pineapple, potato, carrots, and peppers. Pretty good.

AND

Korean fried chicken. IMO Koreans make the best fried chicken on the planet. Better than any soul food restraunt Ive been to. Bettet than my mommas (dont tell her). They get all the fat off and the skin is perfectly crispy. But the inside is really juicy.
