Ruckin's dbol/test/eq log

The plan is pretty simple, gonna run my second cycle for roughly 20 weeks.

Gear:
weeks 1-4 dbol: 20-30 mg/day
weeks 1-20 test c: 300 mg/week
weeks 1-20 eq: 600 mg/week

Training:
full body strength training 3 times per week (alternating 2 workouts), plus sprint training 1-2 times per week on non-lifting days.

Workouts might (and probably will) change slightly as I go along but this is what it will look like to start.

Workout A
power cleans: 6 singles
strict press: 3 sets of 8 (pause on my chest each rep, zero leg drive)
paused ass-to-grass squat: 4 sets of 8
paused incline press: 3 sets of 10
deadlift: 80% for 8-10 singles in 8 minutes
bench: 3 sets of 10
chin ups: 3 sets of 8 (if I'm strong enough. Might have to add a set sometimes to get that same volume in)

Optional assistance work:
glute ham raises: 1-2 sets of 10
db shrugs: 3-5 sets of 15-20 (I really want to build massive traps in these 20 weeks, hopefully this will do it)
face pulls: 1 rest-pause set
weighted planks: 3 sets of 20 seconds (I doubt I'll do these much)

Workout B
Exact same as workout A except instead of deadlifts it'll be rack pulls: 3 sets of 10

I know the weekly volume and 3x/week frequency on everything is gonna be tough. I'm confident that combined with around a gram of gear/week and stupid amounts of food it'll pay off though.

Currently 245 first thing in the morning at 6'2. Goal is to make that 270. Goal lifts are 425 bench, 255 press, 300 power clean, 485 atg squat, 600+ deadlift, and improve my sprint speed. I haven't even done any sprint work in almost 2 years and I'm still considered pretty fast for my size. All the speed I have is just from my strength training. I really wanna work on my sprinting technique and be as fast as possible.

I'm planning to start this in about a week or two, maaaaaybe 3, depending on how personal stuff works out, but probably 2. I'm excited.
I like your program bro. I am going to try it myself. Good luck with you stack

I accepted a while ago that I'll be on for life. I'm fine with it. If having to give myself a shot every week til I die is the most inconvenient thing I have to deal with, then I figure That would be a pretty good life to have. Maybe I'll try to do something with the help of a doctor after my athletic career comes to an end, but I'm not counting on it.

Cool man, just interested to see your take on it. What kind of weight did you maintain from your first cycle?

Sprints should be interesting. Did you ever consider tbol...i have heard it called the sprinters drug before. Ha.
Will be interested to see how those go for you, im an athlete as well and run a lot of sprints during the off season.

Kept 15 lbs from first cycle. I wanna try tbol soon, I just decided to try dbol first. Tbol sounds lile a great drug though.

Subb'd

Ready to watch ya get huge and set PR's!!

Don't tell me you lost Saturday...:(
lost a heartbreaker :(

I couldn't be prouder of how we played though. I've never seen a group of guys fight with so much heart. Probably the best game I've ever played myself. We just lost to a great team that played an ounce better than us.

Oh I forgot to mention that I also have 1000 mg of tne, so I'll be looking to use that for the first time. I'll probably do just 50 mg for my first try with it, whenever that will be. I guess I'll use it on training days I'm just not feeling that great? Idk, haven't put much thought into how I'll use it. Suggestions are more than welcome.

I have no experience in this regard but i wonder if it would be good before a game. After you see how you react to it that may be interesting.

Yeah I wanted to try it for my last game but I've never used it before, so I didn't wanna fuck with something before such an important event that I don't know how I'll respond to. Probably will in the future though. I'm sure all the pros do.

As of now I'll be starting on this Friday. I figure it'll be a good day to start, having all that thanksgiving food in my belly.

I think I might change my workout slightly by alternating bench and incline bench every other workout, instead of doing them both each time. I haven't exactly read a whole lot of good things about people benching 3x per week, and I have a history of elbow problems from benching anyway, so I figure not being so aggressive with it might help keep the elbow pain at bay. Besides, I've always had success benching every other workout anyway so I already know it will work well.

That is all, update coming on Friday :)

Count me in.

Benching 3 times a week can be done without pain. Maybe switch up and do different variations ie, floor press, concentric press, block pressing.

Doing incline and flat 3x week probably isn't a good idea if you're having elbow pain. You have any voodoo floss? Stuff works wonders

Yeah I got some voodoo floss recently. Fortunately I haven't had to use it yet though but it's on hand just in case.

Alternating between flat bench and paused incline bench is gonna be my "variation" so to speak. I'm pretty confident it'll work well. Thank you for the input!

First workout of the blast is in the books! I went a tiny bit lighter on everything than I could have done, just to ease back into the swing of things a little bit, but definitely still did enough to stimulate growth.

Power clean: 215x1x6
Press: 155x8x3
Squat (paused atg): 285x8x4
Paused Incline press: 185x10x3
Deadlift: 415x1x10 in 8 min
Chin ups: 251x6x3
Db Shrugs: 60sx20x3 (<1 min rest)
Face pulls: 190x15,4,4,4 (rest-pause set)

I'm happy with how everything went. Almost everything felt nice and light, especially the deads. Pinned 300 mg test c and 650 eq before lifting and I'm gonna pin another 1000 mg of eq tomorrow to finish off my frontload. I also took 20 mg dbol an hour before the gym. I have some taurine on hand in case I start getting bad pumps from the dbol (never used any orals before).

Fuck I just remembered I forgot to take body part measurements this morning. Oh well I'll do it tomorrow morning, I'm sure 1 day won't make a noticable difference.

I hope you all had a nice thanksgiving yesterday.

Just woke up and took my post-shit, pre-breakfast measurements.

Weight: 245
Arms: 16.5"
Forearms: 13.25"
Thighs: 27.5"
Calves: 17.25"
Chest: 46"
Hips (measured around the fattest part of my love handles and belly): 38.5"

I wear size 36 pants very comfortably so we'll see if that changes. I usually just guage fat loss/gain by the mirror and what notch in my belt I'm using.

Gonna go do a few minutes of light cardio after breakfast and then just relax for most of the day.

I think the dbol is starting to work. I got a significant back pump doing squats, which never happens to me. Only 3 days in I guess that's a good sign. I have taurine that I'll start taking on lifting days I guess? Idk how long before the workout to take it though. Gonna have to research that.

Power clean: 220x1x6
Press: 160x8x3
Squat (paused atg): 290x8x4
Bench: 245x10x3
Rack pulls: 455x8x3
Chin ups: -
Db Shrugs: 65sx20x3 (~1 min rest)
GHRs: bwx8x2
Face pulls: 190x17,5,4,3,2 (rest-pause set)

Another solid workout. For some reason my right bicep is pretty irritated. Not sure why, I don't remember anything happening to it. Didn't want to fuck with it though so I skipped the chin ups today.

Rest day today, I did just 20 minutes of light cardio and now I'm enjoying a whole pizza

Solid fuel for the gym tomorrow. I would've taken the pic before I started but I couldn't wait the extra 15 seconds lol.

Still hungry though so now I have to go make something :/

I'm not a hot sauce fan myself, but I do like ketchup with my pizza too. And of course any meat on pizza is always good.
