ImageUploadedByTapatalk1450805751.516270.jpgthis is a loco moco, a very popular dish where im from. If your real hungry in the morning this is a great meal plus its delishes. 3-4 cups rice with 1/4 pound hamburger on top and two over easy eggs on top the burger and smothered in brown gravy. And of course tobasco sauce. Really tasty and very filling.
Sucked down half before i thought "i should take a pic for meso" lol!!!

Aloha! Brother OGH [emoji4]

My Hawaiian and Samoan co-worker friends use to make this the next morning after a big party. Fixes hangovers and fills you all the way up ...

I'm about to make my first mass batch of rice (2 pound bag of whole grain rice).

I don't know anything about doing that other than the directions, but I know you experienced guys probably have some "optimal ways" to do this right and with flavor.

Any suggestions?

I also have a huge bag of frozen brocoli, I'm sure that's pretty straight forward, but any suggestion on proper preperation would be appreciated.

First batch of rice lol?
Boil it in chicken stock. Gives it a Chinese food feel

welcome to the club brother!
As OGH once said and I smiled pretty good at it...something like "just know when you are choking down those proportioned chicken&rice meals, iron brothers all over the world are doing the same thing, everywhere!" it was to that effect anyway, he put it much more eloquently. :D

I use alot of salsa, chow chow, pepper relish stuff like that for seasonings. Many guys that are trying to trim up stick to lemon juice, crushed red pepper, Ms Dash salt free seasonings, garlic, onion. Depends what your goals are currently, being from the south my first instinct is always pass the salt+butter!

Thanks For the suggestions.

I'm from the south too, so I have no problems spicing and lubing this shit up good. I'll probably go with olive oil over butter, just don't know how to incorporate it.

I will cook brown rice and take my protein of choice, a serving of steamed green veg, and then just use fat free italian dressing. I eat a lot of fat free italian dressing....
use it for marinade bases, for salad dressing, for a sauce garnish on top of hot food like chx/rice.

used it for anal lube last night...but oddly enough my girl told me over breakfast this am she's "tired of It dressing??"
