Massive chest

I went to incline almost exclusively. That don't work? Try dumbbells

Thanks a lot I really would've never thought this because I've always thought incline activated your shoulders more. Ive always added incline presses in my chest routine but almost always after flat.

I will add it first. Should I bother adding partials or anything in also?

The others have given good advice also. Refer to above
Look just because an exercise exists doesn't mean you gotta do it. Just work on getting stronger on the incline. Reps 6 and under. Then add some dumbbell work in if you wish. Then flyes. But put focus on getting stronger in the big compound movements

Change your routine to a tri-set with no rest between these exercises.

exercise #1- Flat bench press for 8-12 reps (or until failure, if you go beyond 12 then keep going) Then straight into;

exercise 2- low incline DB fly's for 8-12 reps (or until failure) then straight into;

exercise #3- incline barbell presses to the neck for 8-12 reps (or until failure)

Run through this rotation one time, chest is done for the workout!! (Tell me how heavy just 135 lbs feels when you get to exercise #3)

I think building a bigger fuller upper chest helps make the chest a lot bigger. Recently for me high volume, 2x a week with 75-80% of 1rm with focus on incline work first and then flat work, followed by just one or two decline. Personally my lower chest develops must faster than my upper chest.

I'll tell you man I get asked about chest exercises all the time as I've got a pretty massive chest lol but honestly I would tell you to make sure you get the most out of whatever routine you stick to and when it stops working for you I would change it up I usually stick to a routine for about a month then try to come up with something new as far as I go I really like volume training with pre exhaustion

"pretty massive chest" huh lol.. ;)

I figured you would like this, considering your avatar.
Kai Greene had an exercise not many people know about, but looking at his chest, it definitely worked. I've never done it myself, but you might give it a shot?
He called it the Crusher and finished off every chest workout with it. He would squeeze a grapefruit as hard as he could between his hands and fuck the shit out of it on camera. Gets a real deep burn in the inner and upper pec.

Flat BB bench 4x8-12
Incline bench if you like or just go to DB flat and incline 4x8-12
Couple machines/DB Flyes
High volume on cable Flyes or machine flyes or both

I focus on getting a good chest stretch, kind of pinching my shoulder blades in the back. I watched a dave tate "how to bench" video that helped activate my chest a lot more too

For me, volume over weight has made the most impact, mountaindog style training too - pump/pre exhaust, work, then destroy with flys/machines.

Last week was:

Machine Press: 10 horizontal grip, 10 verticle x3

Flat bb press 3x12
Incline bb press 4x8
Then kill with flys

I like the "every minute on the minute" to start
10x10 chest press

then go
A) bench 5x5
b) incline dumb bells press 5x5

A) incline dumb bells press 5x5 (5.3.5 tempo)
b) flat chest flies 5x10 no tempo

A) jammers 3 sets of 10
B) Push ups max x 3 sets
