Coinbase

There is an option to transfer USD into your actual USD wallet on coinbase. If you do this it will still take the time it did for bitcoin, but you wont lose the money. Once funds are in this USD wallet you can then buy BTC instantly on Coinbase. This would prevent fluctuation while wating.

Hope this helps.

They never gave me the usd wallet option on there, and I know exactly what you're talking about. Not sure why that isn't there. All I have is the vault and the coinbase btc wallet

Wow, you lost $5? LOL.. Hate to see you at a craps table..

Thanks for your completely useless and rude post, douchebag. I lost out on money and was unable to make a purchase because I didn't have enough bitcoins left. If I knew that the transaction was going to take a few days, rather than get it instantly as advertised, I would've gone with something else is my exchange my money.

I didn't get that option either, just like thezman but thanks for trying to help. I'm just going to use Moneygram for now until I get more comfortable with Bitcoin apps/wallets.

You have to plan a head some times. You should always send a little extra for cushion. But since I started using circle I get mine instantly. There is always alternatives p2p coin networks eBay but you are going to pay more they hike up the price to make a profit. But just like when you purchases on you debit coin. It might be taken out of your bank account it might not be till later. Patience is virtue not every thing is instant or perfect but after a while you get the hang of it. People don't complain when 2.15 is taken out at the gas pump just for swiping your card. Lol

Exactly - circle pay has been golden for me - instant and never a problem

So if I buy bitcoin through circle, and want to make a purchase, where should I move the bitcoin to? I'm using my android for all of this and dark wallet appears to be desktop/laptop specific.

I moved 300 from debit card to circle. Says "adding money" at the moment... Idk how I feel about this lol

Go fuck yourself. Coinbase has an instant buy feature. If your limit is $300, and you need $400, you have to wait 5 business days. Don't get on my ass, because you didnt read the terms. All bent of shape because you lost $5. LMAO! If you bought it at $375 last week, and waited till this week, you would have gotten your money back and then some.. its over $400 right now. Stick with the kids at planet fitness, when you grow up you can hang with the big boys at powerhouse or worlds gym, jerkoff!

You really need to learn how to read before commenting. I did not even go over the $300 limit and the instant feature did not work for me. I'm not so much mad about losing $5 but more so because I was expecting it to be instant, but it wasn't, and I was unable to make my purchase. This delayed my plans in starting a cycle at a particular date that I was aiming for. You really have issues if one of your first posts is to come and talk shit, rather than be helpful. It's funny because you talk about hoping to be able to contribute to Meso in your intro post. You go fuck yourself. I'm done replying to you.

Obviously, you don't know how to read the terms/conditions on coinbase. If the instant feature didnt work for you, you didnt verify your bank account information. Thats the only way the instant feature is going to work. They raised my limit after 1 week. And it is instant, less then 5 mintues the coins are in your account. But it will take 5 days before they take from your bank account.
You're whining and complaining about starting a cycle on time? If you just bought normally it would have took 5 business days. I highly doubt waiting 4 more days is going to make/break you starting a cycle. Sounds like you're one of those people that buys stuff at last minute, or tries to buy stuff mid cycle, and gets all bent of shape because a source takes 2-3 weeks to get your stuff to you. Then its the sources fault for ruining your cycle. I have enough stuff on hand to last me the next 2 years.

Now that I know this, I'm most def going to add in extra, just in case!

Be careful what version of dark wallet you use. There's a thread on it. There's a beta version that may not be stable with your coins.

You can use blockchain or electrum, both great choices :)

Contact PI and he'll hook you up if you're stupid like me with this stuff.

Let me see if I'm understanding this correctly. It says instant but can still take up to 5 days to transfer from your bank account if this is your first transaction? After bank info is verified future transactions are REALLY instant?

Instant only on the first say $200 or whatever by say your limit is. Anything over that and you have to wait. That limit is also for the whole week.
