Snatch grip deadlift

What do you guys think about this exercise in general?
Would you substitute this for conventional deadlift and any ideas for puting this in routine would help

It can be a good assistance exercise for the deadlift but I wouldn't recommend substituting it completely. You should still be doing regular deads consistently.

I wouldn't substitute deadlift for anything but conventional or sumo deadlift. Snatch grip is good for lat development and as an accessory, I'd do something like three sets of eight with it.

I probably would after regular deadlift, yes. Or do it on a volume day early in the week and do regular deadlift later in the week. Just depends what kind of program you're doing.

You could also stand on plates or thick rubber mat if you wanted a deficit to your regular dead.

Variations are good if you know why you need them and how they'll affect your development. Don't just do an excercise because someone said so. Know thyself!

Ok thanks guys
I read that poliquin said that they are really good for mass and upper back development so I tougth I'd just try them and see how it goes
