First Cycle advice?

Ok.

I've been following and reading when I can for a few weeks now and I want to start super basic.

I want to run a Test only cycle first. Maybe a Test P cycle? I want to get some lean gains and I plan to change my diet accordingly.

So :

Test P weeks 1-8 100 EOD ?
Arimidex ED, amount?
PCT: for how long? 2 to 4 weeks?
Nolvadex but in what amount? Do I need to run clomid as well?

Do I need to run HCG as well?
 
My advice to you is this:

Keep doing your research and I mean that in all sincerity. Your questions are non specific to the point where I think I can safely assume you will struggle to stay safe on cycle with ancillaries and PCT.

I'm trying man. I also suffer from being over analytical and confuse myself.
I just need a baseline. The problem is that everyone says something slightly different. I need to know WHY. like based on your cycle how do you determine how much of said product to take for your PCT. So if I increase my test intake, how does that affect how much my pct amounts should be and etc.

I would prob feel comfortable with a Nolva PCT at 40/40/20/20 or something similar... Since I'm comparing it to your layout being short and conservative.

This is really individualistic... I can get away without a lot of AI and feel fine personally but I know one member on here that has to use ridiculous amounts to keep even close to being in range. With that said, .5 mg EOD is a pretty good starting point on average it seems. Get bloodwork.

HCG throughout cycle is ideal IMO. I like my balls just how they are. You like your balls as they are? Then run hcg throughout. It's the only way I've ever done it.

Thanks ,man. That coincides with what I've read from other places.

I also read that with Test Prop you would begin PCT 3 to 4 days after and should go for about 3 to 4 weeks. Is that accurate? I'll probably go 4 weeks just for safety sake.

I'll look into HCG. I would prefer to do it as well as part of my cycle, but there seems to be conflicting opinions as to if it is necessary. I tend to err on the side of caution and will probably use it as well.

Many are completely fine without. I view it as keeping the system up and running while on cycle in a sense. Not to say you're not shutdown by taking it but that it doesn't seem to be quite the same restarting from a dead stop.

But mostly, I really prefer having a set of big balls as opposed to peanuts and I would take hcg for that reason alone personally. Plus, my girl wouldn't know what she was supposed to cup with her left hand. :)

I was under the impression that 2 weeks was what you needed to wait with Test E or C? then again there is the debate on whether there is a difference between C, E, or P... too much info

Read up on what the half life of each ester is. Then read what the half life actually means. That's what I did. Took me a half day of on and off reading to get a good grip of what it means. But I read a lot of diffrent stuff. Anyway your supposed to wait until all the test is out of your system before you start pct. Depending on which test you use is when you start your pct. And pre,mid, and post blood work will tell you a lot because everyone body is diffrent. Invest the money in the blood work or you'll regret it.
 
I think an 8 week test prop cycle is a great beginner cycle, IF, you can handle the frequent pinning. Most new guys, and many vets, cannot. But if you an use several locations, and don't mind pinning at least eod, prop is beneficial for first time due to being in and out quick. 6-8 weeks u make good gains, get off, and shorter cycle means quicker recovery and turnaround. This is ultimately better for longevity in many opinions. For your case the standard pct protocol with nolva only would probably be enough for recovery. Hcg is up to you. Some swear by it, I've yet to use it but won't disregard the fact that it may have benefited me in the past or may be necessary in the future. If short ester doesn't suit your requirements, consider looking into test enan or cyp. Less pinning, but longer cycle and slower recovery. Some prefer long ester for bulking and short for cutting. Not sure of the science behind this, or if there is any, but many before me have done it that way with good results.

After finding the tests for only 66$ I think I will go for the blood work
 
And pinning prop eod for 8 weeks straight on your first go is gonna be rough. Plan your site rotation and muscle group worked around each other is my suggestion. In addition to reading and planning better.

Colt44 is right about site rotation. I pinned with 23ga pins every day for a week or so and then switched to eod. I only did glutes because I was scared to pin my quads or delts and while the pinning itself didn't hurt at all, by the end of my cycle my butt was super bruised and I had some pretty gnarly lumps. The lumps and bruising went away but rotating your injections would probably help you avoid that.

I had HCG on hand but I didn't use it because I did such a short cycle. My balls did shrink quite a bit in only five weeks but they're already coming back and I'm only a week into PCT with Clomid and Nolva.

I had a bad dream last night about the ball shrinkage. Regardless, I've tried peptides before and had to pin daily and so got used to the bruises and lumps... I just don't get the results I want from SARMS or Peptides. Although, my skin does have quite the glow hahaha
