How rare is a testosterone level above 1000ng/dl

I've tested my testosterone twice this summer. The first reading was at 927.1 ng/dl and the second was at 1122ng/dl. I am wondering how rare it is to have a testosterone reading above 1000ng/dl naturally for a 20-29 year old male?

What was the lab reference range? That will tell you roughly. From most, the upper range is ~1,000 ng/dL. With that said, the chance is ~2.5%.

Are those your levels without injecting?

I have recently had multiple tests come back as 1400+. All natural. No drugs/supps.
My shbg levels are 140

Had adrenal, pituitary, testes checked. All ok. No tumors/cancer.

Endocrinologist says my liver is overproducing shbg, preventing body from absorbing test, which then causes my body to overproduce test.

I have tried nettle root to bring down shbg, which seemed to work for a week or so, but now back to extremely fatigued, low libido.

I never checked my shbg, but my free testosterone was 161 ng/dl on a range 40-240ng/dl and dht 70ng/dl (range 20-85ng/dl). What is your diet like? Also, have you checked whether your liver is in good shape? (for instance, fatty liver...). The main reason I ask is because there is a negative relation between estradiol and shgb (higher estradiol==> higher shbg in most cases). Then again, higher E2==> lower Total Testosterone (think post steroid cycle...), so your case may need further investigation. Further, fatty liver disease causes poor E2 metabolism, and hence higher E2, higher shbg. You should definitely get your E2 levels checked if you haven't done so.

Estradiol 35, so normal
Liver panels were normal
Cortisol low

I have some very good doctors stumped on this one.

I had a 978 for my precycle bloods

Now I hover at about 450 with 3 cycles done after the fact :*(
