I had tear away on there but it wouldn't download right so it only played every once in a while. Lol. I love that song.+1 for Black Label Society, Pantera and the original Drowning Pool. If I had to choose one Drowning Pool song it'd be Tear Away though.
This is one of my all-time favs, not very well-known either.
I see what you did there haha.Am i the only one who gets down on some katy perry? Firework gets me pumped haha. Nah jk my playlist is all over the place from metal to rock to country and rap im not to picky just like alot of music
Ahh. My bad. I guess you're trying to tell me I should've searched the forum for a thread regarding music rather than starting my own conversation regarding music playlists. Clever.
I like the old stuff too. Those guys paved the way for the variety of music we have today. I like it all, but the heavy stuff helps me stay focused at the gym. Helps put me in beast mode. LolMy playlist has Five Finger Death Punch, Drowning Pool, Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Who and other great stuff.
That's great playing for your dad's band, and that must make you appreciate great music. The older stuff is sooo much better.I like the old stuff too. My dad was in a hair metal band in the 80s (semi popular on the local level). Those guys are getting together today again and I get to play bass for them.
On the agenda:
Metallica
Van halen
Lynch Mob
BLS
And whatever else we come up with.
Oh yeah man. My dad was playing with these guys around the time I was born. I'm 28 now and they still got it. Lol.That's great playing for your dad's band, and that must make you appreciate great music. The older stuff is sooo much better.![]()
I got to like the 80s music as well...New Wave I listened to while a senior in high school during the early 80s. Good times!Oh yeah man. My dad was playing with these guys around the time I was born. I'm 28 now and they still got it. Lol.
I wouldn't be bold enough to say the older stuff is better, kind of apples and oranges, but it's fantastic in its own right. But I've always been into the older stuff. Now my kids are into it. 80's metal shall live to see another generation. Lol
