First Test-E Cycle Advice

Hi guys, I apologize for the stale post, I've searched around but can't find anyone with similar stats. I'm looking for some advice, I'm considering my first test-e cycle, but wanted to check opinions on whether it's necessary yet? And would a 400mg cycle be worthwhile?

Age - 24
Training - 4 years total, 3 years educatedly
Height - 6ft2
Weight - 95kg (209lbs)
BF% - 14% (midway through bulk atm)
Activeness - I work in construction so a fairly physical job 5 days p/w.

Training Program
6 days a week, roughly 75mins per session, with the following splits;
Mon - Biceps/Triceps
Tue - Chest/Shoulders
Wed - Back/Lats/Traps
Thur - Legs/Abs
Fri - Biceps/Triceps
Sat - (whatever feels ready to retrain/I feel I'm lacking)
Sun - Rest

Diet
~3500kcal 300g protein 350g carb 100g fat. May vary slightly.

Supplements
Standard whey protein (from BP), additional BCAAs, multivits, natty test booster (will drop this during cycle)

1. Any tips for a first-time cycle?
2. Should I remain in a caloric surplus throughout cycle + PCT? As I have a holiday booked end of June so wanted to start cutting in April? Which would be roughly 8 weeks in?
3. Any improvements to diet/training always welcome!

Its just me but id start out with 500mgs but thats just what i did good luck man

I'm with @trying to get big on doing 500 ew. Also I think 12.5 aromasin ed may crash your e2. I like waiting until I get some symptoms before running an ai but that's just me. You need to get mid cycle bloodwork to dial in the ai correctly. Also drop the ai after last pin unless need arises. I'd also wait 4 half life's of test e (roughly 20 days) before starting pct and I'd keep it at 50/50/50/50 and 20/20/20/20.

Ya just like Savagesteve mentioned use blood work to dial it. After 4 or 5 weeks should be enough time to find out through blood work how your body responds to test.

Looks exactly like how my first cycle will go. I'm no expert but from what I've read you don't need to run that much clomid during PCT for a test only cycle.

Clomid - 50/50/25/25
Nolva - 40/20/20/20

use hcg to avoid crashing hard in pct. personally i've experienced a far way better pct (and keeping gains) with hcg. drop aromasin a bit, as other said crashing your estrogen SUCKS.
during pct keep your cals like on cycle (or around that amount) to keep your gains.
 
You may want to rethink you training program and diet. According to what you have written you are giving your Quads, Calves, hamstrings, and abs less than 20 minutes each a week. Yet your biceps and triceps are each getting around 75 minutes a week. What did your legs ever do to you to make you you hate them so much?

Myself I train Hamstrings, and Quads on separate days each twice a week, so Saturday and Tuesday 1 hr -1.5 hrs on Hamstrings, then Sunday and Wednesday around the same amount of time on Quads. Calves get 10 – 30 minutes daily though on occasion I will skip a day. If your going to take a rest day perhaps a regular Monday to Friday workday so you aren’t wasting a full day off not tearing apart your muscles.

Your diet; I think you are going to starve.

So have bloodwork done at 4/5 weeks then adjust accordingly? I'll be using medichecks to avoid any awkward conversations with the doctor!

Thanks for the reply, the reason for this is because my legs are currently far stronger than the rest of my body, I'm trying to even out atm. However I may consider a more even approach during a cycle as I assume it will excel everything. As for the diet, I'm in roughly a 500 carloric surplus, do you think I should raise this slightly?
 
theirs no magic number of calories, its whatever your body responds to, if 500 is enough than keep it there, if you need more...eat more. You have to be in tune with your own body, no one here can tell you how many calories you need.

For bulking, try to stay around 35% protein, 40% carbs and 25% fat, or so. Try and time the fast carbs around, during and right after your lifts.
 
Get bloodwork pre cycle to find out your baseline and where you stand with everything else plus you will need it to compare against med and post cycle bloodwork. Good luck.

As for the cals I was hoping you wasn't going to say that! Looks like I won't be cutting much for holiday then haha
when you will notice shrinkage (like week 4/6) start with 250IU twice a week. if you notice shrink again you can do it more frequent like eod at 250IU or bump it to 500IU twice a week and so on
 
not everyone has testicle shrinkage, I have been on trt for years I don't use it and I have no shrinkage, hcg will however make your pct go smoother.
 
Hey guys, I know this question has been beaten into the ground but I still can't find a definitive answer.

General consensus appears to be PCT starts 14 days after last injection of Test E. However I've come across post from reputable members on meso that suggest 18-21 days.

For someone starting their first 12 week test e only cycle @ 500mg a week is there a safer alternative to the standard 14 day wait?
