I have been debating on diving into the world of gear.

What are your recommendations?

Also best supplier?

If I'm asking questions I shouldn't be let me know, not familiar with the etiquette.
 
Usually the purpose of introducing yourself is to give your states, goals, and cycle history.
Also it's frowned upon to ask for sources here, not a big deal just keep reading and you will find all you need.

Stats... 44 yrs old.
Goals simple... I say semi pro football and I need to be able to bang with these youngsters. My 225 bench is not cutting it.

Cycle experience is zilch.
I was told 1/2 cc Tran a and 1/2cc Test twice a week. Tuesday and Saturday.

I guess I am wanting as much knowledge as I can get before dumping $150 for a 6 week cycle.

I have read several different opinions and the info has become cloudy.

ED/EOD/E3D etc. Dosage all different as well.
Best advice I can give is do as much reading and research as u possibly can, there are stupid levels to this shit!

Idea of a good first cycle would be test E or C because of the ester lengths can be pinned twice a week around 4-500 mg a week is good and will give great gains on first cycle
You will want to have an AI on hand during cycle to help with estrogen levels and you will want to pct after your cycle which includes nolva and clomid to get your levels back in range of your normal
Side note STAY THE EFF AWAY FROM TREN FOR YOUR FIRST CYCLE!
Now I have given u a basis to start research all the while respecting my elders at the same time!! Good luck

Lower weight higher reps I would assume? Also considering a Crossfit regimen Vs. Straight lift program. Your opinion ?

Crossfit is gay and AAS is not needed. Powerlift or bodybuilding programs only. Just my humble opinion.

Edit: AAS is not needed to jump up and down, run till you puke, or throw a weighted ball against a wall (crossfit) if your gonna come to the dark side, make it worth while and powerlift or body build

If your 225 reps is your biggest concern, your head isn't in the right area. What's your 40? Clean? Vertical? Position?
My 225 bench is 10-12 reps for high average but I run through people a hell of a lot better than the guy that more than doubles my reps.

Recommendations:
Get blood test done and check your testosterone and estrogen levels. Take a low end dose of testosterone (250 a week), or start TRT.
The thing about steroids is they don't make you some super freak athlete. They allow you to recover faster so you can get back on the field more often without sore muscles hindering your performance.
 
40 is not my concern as my hands are in the dirt. Vert no concern. It has been 25 yrs since I have been on the field.

The crossfit was strictly a question. I need to gain brute strength. The kids I am trying to battle are killing me due to my overall strength.

I want to get back to a competition type strength as quickly as possible. I understand I will never be what I was but I can damn sure be better than I am now.

Having a faster 40 and a higher vertical mean you have more explosive strength than you did before.
Benching 225 20 times? Ok cool. You do a movement that you don't even use on the field. If you do use it for that split second to push someone to make a hole, you do it once. Not 20 times. So a higher bench max would be superior to a higher rep threshold.
Brute strength? Like I mentioned before, power clean. Also deadlift, squat, farmers carry, sled pulls.
Sounds like a proper training routine and base are needed before you start cycling. Like I said though, great starting place would be to get some blood work done to establish your hormonal baselines.

I have a full panel every 90-120 days unfortunately. Everything is typical minus sugar and thyroid. I have a friend who is modifying my workout regimen for me.

Dont even consider the use of aas.
Read read read and research is the key to all your questions.
Do the above for another year or so...then consider it.

I'm telling you right now your first cycle is gunna cost much more than that.
Bloods alone if you get pre, during, and after pct is gunna run you like 150-200.
Don't do "tran" (Tren) your first cycle.
