The Non-Metal Rock Thread

Heard on the radio earlier that Halestorm is playing here locally in the next few months. Definitely getting tickets.

Lizzy Hale is a fucking fox and has one of the best female voices in rock. I'm jealous, man, I'd love to see them live. Well, mostly her... lol!

EDIT:

Almost embarrassed to post this because it's a Lady Gaga cover, but holy hell this chick can sing...

She does some phenomenal covers, too.

I've already posted this vid, but I'm totally in love with this chick's voice.

Love the raspy voice.

But yeah, the Halestorm concert is so close I'm not missing it. From looking at videos it looks like they put on a great show, too.

Is that David Draiman singing with her? How in the hell have I not heard that cover before??

If it was anyone but Lizzy, I'd say covering that song would be blasphemy against Lita Ford, and Ozzy, but she definitely gets a free pass on that one. David, too.

Enjoy the show, I'm sure it'll be killer. They seem to be one of those bands that sound as good as their albums, if not better, on stage.

Yes, that's her and him doing that cover. I heard it on the radio years ago and loved it.

Thanks. I'll get some videos of the concert for sure, might post some.

Speaking of Ozzy he'll be playing locally to me later this year, too. There's a total solar eclipse in August and rural Illinois is the best place to see it from. It's supposedly the first time in 26 years it's happened in the US. Ozzy is going to play "Bark at the Moon" right when it happens. Five Finger Death Punch is playing during the four day music fest, too.

It's been years, but I used to go to Ozzfest all the time. Saw tons of great bands through the years, and of course Ozzy himself.

FFDP, on the other hand, I haven't had a chance to see live yet, but my wife and I both really want to. I've seen their live videos and they're another band that sounds as good on stage as they do on their albums.

Just checked and looks like they're in Europe most of the year. I'd definitely go if they were in the area though. Also didn't realize they were Swedish until looking up their tour.
Yes and there is alot of speculation of who the members are but NO one really has a clue....they stay in character at all times....theyre weird as fuck...in a good weird way...lol

I was just talking to the guy I work with about them. Hard to successfully pull off the whole costume themed band thing.

Please don't make to much fun of me guys. Any huge Rush fans out there? I've seen them 29 times. IMO one of the most influential bands ever.
