I need cardio suggestions

I can't stand walking or running on a treadmil. Cardio is boring as fuck. I need suggestions that will make me want to do it. Would kettle ball swings or heavy training be a bad move if I want to preserve muscle in a deficit?

15 stairmaster hiit. It sucks but it's done in 15min and 300 calories burnt. Start slow and easy with the intervals and in a few weeks it will be easier. I normally go on the highest setting for 30 seconds to a minute then lower it by 5 or 10 depending how far into it I am and how I feel.

No, not a bad move.

If you're not interested in typical cardio and want to branch out, maybe try some barbell complexes. It'll get your heart rate going. It's not really cardio but maybe it'll be easier to stick with and, if so, it'll be more optimal for you because it'll be sustainable whereas regular cardio sounds like it won't be.

Try Tabata. This can be done on a tread mill, elliptical or stationary bike. I do the battle ropes after training for 4 minutes, 6x week. Gets the heart rate up. Cardio done, quick and easy.

I use the Tabata Stopwatch Timer app.

For me, the most cost/time effective is HIIT on a stationary bike. Warm up for 5, then 30 sec.x4 blasts as fast as you can with good form. Rest 30-60 sec between blasts. Warm down. 3x weekly. Steady cardio is useless, unless hiking or walking in the woods to find a spot to do your girl.

My suggestion also. The choices are limitless also. As soon as my shoulder is close to 100% ill be getting back to these.

For cardio I usually do twn minutes of HIIT for example i might do 4 rounds of 25 kettlebell swings, 5 long jumps onto a box, and 25 jumping jacks then a 30 second plank hold. Or kettlebell swings, tire flips, and a lap aroundthe parking lot and s plank hold. Goes by pretty quick, beats the hell out of treadmill/eliptical/stairstepper etc

You read my mind! I alternate between 140 spm and 40 spm, 1 minute intervals of each. I shed bodyfat with this compared to any steady-state cardio I've ever tried.

Tire flips are great and you can easily get one for free and keep it at the house. I have 2:D one heavy for strongman style shit and one that's in the 300lb area for cardio, 5 sets of 15 flips with a set of 15 sledgehammer swings on each side is what I typically do only takes about 30min or so.

Try doing 2 days a week of barbell complexes. I started this about 2 months ago and it's been getting me shredded. I set 20 mins on the clock and do, 6 reps shoulder press, 7 reps front squat, 8 reps bent over row, 9 reps stiff legged deadlift, 10 reps back squat. The goal is to get 10 rounds. I started out with 65 lbs and it took me a few attempts to get to 10 rounds, then once I hit 10 consistently I move up by 10 lbs. THIS IS AN INSANE CARDIO WORKOUT. I love it because I get it done in 20 minutes, I'm drenched in sweat, I get to lift and it completely replaces the need for conventional cardio.

Bunch of good suggestions. Pick something and focus on performance. For example greyskull preaches 100 burpees in 5 min as the goal. He tells you how to get there in the villain challenge #1 article. Another example is jump rope, goal should be to be able to move like a boxer. Well you get there by practicing jump rope and adding time and the difficulty to it weekly until you reach that goal. Goals for heavy bag etc or wendler prowler challenge. If you are working toward a goal at least you have something to strive for instead of just doing it for the sake of burning calories.

Below are links to the greyskull conditioning books. Great books, just follow his advice on time limits. The best is the very first one, 13 down....it's a mother fucker.
