Ya, being at work all day, every f-ing day, every week, every month... just wasting my life away while my kids are growing up. It hurts thinking about it, but I try to blow their minds with fun when I have time to spend with them.
My wife has a 3-day work week and I am trying to keep her on it so at least one of us can spend more time with our kids, and the way we have it setup now we have a grandparent from each side looking after them one day a week. I don't want both of us working fulltime to end up with asshole 'nanny kids'
I've got a 4 y/o daughter and a 1.5 y/o son. The boy is a mad man like me.
I've got lots of motorbikes, one being a tricked out Honda 50 that me and both of them already tear around the neighborhood on. I take him skateboarding. I hold him and we bomb hills (carefully, fast but not too fast) He f-ing loves it!!!
I've had a shitty flu the past 2 weeks so that sucked not being my fun self on the weekends, but It's blowing over now and I can't wait to get into shit with my kids tomorrow.
I can't wait until they get into snowboarding, and guns, if they ever do... I've been buying guns that I have not even shot yet, just to shoot with them.
