The AR .556 came in Wednesday and so did my hyve technologies plus 2 mag extension,rear plate, extended mag release and talon grips. Still have truglo fiber optic sights for it but I don't have the tool. So it's ordered now.

Just had a run in with some car invasion crime. Never owned a gun, but have been thinking about it for a long time. Looking for recommendations from gun savy members. Thinking hand gun. Money not an option. I have a young child. Gun will be in a locked safe, but would still like something with heavy trigger pull - if I'm shooting I'm killing. Please pm with a recommendation.

Can't go wrong with a Sig. You can get a P229 in 9mm or .40S&W. They're fairly compact, but a little heavy being all metal construction. I prefer the Elite series for the beavertail grip (more comfortable) and the SRT trigger. I own several Elite P-series Sigs (226, 229, and 220) and just got a 229 Legion. Haven't had a failure out of any of them.

My lcp .380 blew the slide off and down range about 8 ft a few weeks ago at the range. It was brand new and only had about 100 rounds through it. Just glad it didn't take a finger or something with it lol. Sent it to Ruger and they replaced what was missing and broke and sent it back. Now I'm kinda Leary about shooting it. After all it's just my back up to my glock EDC.

It definitely freaked me out especially since my son just got done putting about 5 mags through it and all of the sudden decided he wanted to shoot the glock I was shooting so I said yeah whatever. I literally picked it up shot one round and it blew up on the second.
I'm glad nobody got hurt brother, the 380 is my backup to my backup, lol

Yeah it's kinda mine also. I carry my glock 43 and when I'm in my pickup or wife's car I keep the lcp in the cup holder for quick access incase I can't get to my side to grab the glock. Shit in thinking of getting a revolver now.

Shot buddies rifle for the first time. 4 shots. 30.06 at 100 yards. Cheap ammo. Nice rifle and scope. Can't wait to get my scope dialed in and get some quality ammo. Anyways, heres my 4 shots at 100 yards on his gun. Not great, but not bad for what it is.
Looking to suprise my FIL with a pair of engraved handguns/pistols. One for me. One for him. Just simple shit. Maybe our names on the guns.
