Tattoos

Whats up fellas. I'm into tattoos. I like getting them looking at them etc. I know we're trying to stay somewhat anonymous here because of the nature of this fourm. So I'm not saying post your tattoos. I just looking for some answers. My problem is I have a half sleeve on my right arm. I want a full sleeve. My wife is against the idea because she says I'll regret it when I'm old. I'm 34 now which is pretty old. At least old enough to know what I want. My question to everyone is do you or do you know someone that has a full sleeve on either arm and regret getting it? Or do you love your tattoo and not regret it at all. What are the pros and cons in your opinion. I want to get my full sleeve badly but I don't want to regret it. Which in a way if I'm not sure I probably shouldn't do it. But I am sure I want to. I'm just not sure if I should. I'm asking you guys what you think and what your experiences are. Thanks

My only regret now....is i had full sleeves for years and wanted to add more so i extended them onto both my hands....stupid idea in retrospect....im gonna be 36 in a few weeks also....

That many, huh? Hope they are bad ass dude, that's a lot of ink.

I have had a few over the years but recently (last 5 years) I started to get more. They are addicting and I plan on getting a lot of coverage by the time I am done. I'm not going to lie though; they hurt. Obviously some areas are worse than others but god damn does the wiping wear me down over time.

If you get tattoos that have a real connection into your life and heart you will never regret them

If you get some random ink like a unicorn or something my guess is you'll regret it!!
I agree with @Ickyrica. I have two full sleeves and all of the tattoos I have mean something to me that at some point in life I went through. I have no regrets. Many times I don't even realize I have them. LOL!!!

The hardest spots for me were near my armpits and on my inner wrists....im into biomechanical mostly with skin tears so it looks almost robotic...no color ever...my back is were all the meaningful tats in my life are...family and what not...i dont regret any of them and i am always traveling around to check out new artists etc....as i get older tho and do functions with my kids, i feel awkward with the hand tats...idk why...i get weird looks by soccer moms who are either disgusted or intrigued...lol...oh well:confused:

Kind of like a Hans Giger stuff? I've always thought his artistry was something I'd wear proudly.

I have one near my right armpit and I'd agree with your thoughts on that! I have a pile of lidocaine and have always wondered if that would help with pain but never wanted to risk weird skin issues or something.

If you're ever in Boston looking for a tattoo I can recommend an amazingly good artist. Fucking hate the man with a passion but his work is worth it. Worked with Booth for a while if I remember correctly.

Yes!!!!! I have several HR Giger faces on my arms coupled with other artists work who emulated his style....
Paul Booth is incredibly hard to get seat time with...i have my eye on this guy named Piotr Dedel out of France i think....his work is mind blowing bro

Do it. Do you already have a career started? Are more tattoos going to hinder you? If not then why not go for it? Old people are fuckin gross anyways, might as well be gross and have some sick ink, yo

I work in commercial refrigeration and I also fix cooking equipment. No tattoos will not hinder my career. Good point if I'm 60 years old I'm not going to give a fuck anyway. We see those old bastards walking around naked as fuck in the gym locker rooms not giving a shit what they look like
