Why would any bodybuilder make fun of free pizza mondays at Planet Fitness?

Because you are what you eat....regardless if you're bulking or cutting.

Eat like shit.....Look like shit

Sorry brother but I'm calling you out on this one. I highly doubt you look better than Rich Piana or even Juan Morel. Both who consume Pizza on their cheat days. Give me a break save the bs for someone else. I know you want to eat clean all the time that is great but it doesn't negate the fact that when bulking, Pizza can be beneficial if you time it correctly. Plus some pizza here and there actually will rev up your metabolism if you eat clean all the time.

You do realize pizza has carbs right? You can get the same carbs from rice or oatmeal or just get it from pizza. You realize protein is also contained in pizza right? Things like ch**se, chicken, sausage, beef, etc all of which can come on a pizza contain complete protein sources. You also realize that some people also put vegetables and fruit on their pizza right? Things like peppers, onions, pineapple, etc contain nutrition

Don't bother with these teenage boys who's mom takes them to wal mart to shop for their groceries each week. They are ignorant.

P.S. Well said.

That's a great example

So he's definitely going to be dead in a few years because his gear use is way out of control And he eats like shit..

Just because you look good on the outside doesn't mean you are healthy inside... And when you eat crap you can guarantee you're not going to be healthy inside..

Ok.

I think the main reason pizza is bad at PF is that hardly any serious BB type goes there - it's for folks who want to lose weight, not gain - so for the PA audience, pizza is a bad idea. For a BB pizza can be just fine. In other words, they're hypocrites, or at least sending a mixed message. Or maybe they want their customers to stay fat forever. Hmmm?

Yes but the question was why would a bodybuilder make fun of free pizza? That is ironic.

After a hard day at work before going into the dungeon to workout I've been known in the past to have a slice of pizza to give me the energy to make it through the workout session.
The one I have found is best is the ultimate meat pizza from Walmart that you take home and cook yourself. 22 protein 20 fat 44 carbs. Really not bad when you combine with protein shake after workout. It fits my macros while bulking. Domino's or Pizza Hut does not fit my macros, the protein is really low and the fat is really high.

I'll pick one of those pizza's up when I'm bulking. Thank you!

I eat lots of tacos, pizza, and am currently making a philly cheese steak sandwich.

I'm lean. Not shredded. You can see all my abs but can't see my obliques as well as I would like, nor my lower back muscles.

Idk I just like food. "Clean" eating doesn't mean you have to eat chicken and sweet potatoes all day every day.
Guarantee my 93% lean steak, bread roll, CHEESE (for you @Docd187123), peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach has more nutrition in it than a slab of chicken and pile of potatoes.

Lol.... I never said that pizza wasn't a good cheat meal. I'll tear up one every few weeks. But to those people who consume pizza as a diet staple, don't have a clue about nutrition. Some things can be good in moderation, especially during a bulk.

But we all know people that think they can eat pizza and burgers everyday, and they look like absolute shit.

I love the fact that your proof its acceptable is rich piana. Anything can be eaten in a crunch, but anyone who says pizza is an optimal source of cals and nutrition is rationalizing. Eat pizza all you want, but don't try to spin it like it's good for you.

How do you know that Piana eats Pizza all the time? Have you heard that before or seen it first hand?

You guys are forgetting to mention what type of carbs are in those pizzas or fat... they aren't complex carbs so the body processes them differently. That fat is Saturated and unhealthy. The protein from the meat is processed meat with grease and other preservatives that will not help your health or gains..

No, carbs all get processed the same. The rate of the processing is all that differs but when you add fat, fiber, and protein to carbs it slows down the process anyway.
