How to find something specific in a thread you're viewing

I feel I have explained this half a dozen times in the past week so here we go.

If you are viewing a thread and wondering... "hey where's the list?" or "is there a coupon or discount code?" I'm going to explain to you how to quickly find this out for yourself, without having to post the question which someone probably asked one page back... And two pages... And three pages.

While viewing your thread, scroll to the top of your page and you will see a magnifying glass. This is the search button. Click on this and you will see a spot to type in the word or phrase you're looking for. You may also choose to search for posts by a specific member.

Then you will see a spot where you can select "search this thread only". Click here, and then click on the red search button.

You will now see a list and brief preview of all posts containing the content you searched. For example "list" . Luckily these are automatically in chronological order, with the newest listed first. So to find the most up to date list, simply scroll down until you see the post you're looking for. Sometimes it may be on the next page. Once you find it, simply click on it and it will take you right to the post.

Now here's the bonus part. If you feel others may be looking for the same thing you just found, you can click "reply" while you're viewing the post and type in whatever you'd like. Maybe "here guys maybe you were looking for the list too" . Click post reply. Now when the next person comes along, the post is already right there and they don't even have to search.

Thanks for your time guys, hopefully this helps some people.
