Body shaving... bumps/ pimples

So 2 months ago i made the mistake of shaving my upper arms. I always shave my forearms without issue. However after shaving my upper arms including inner bicep it has taken me the last 2 months to finally get these pimples and tiny bumps to go away. I would like to shave my upper arms I also need to shave my back as continue testosterone use has turned me into something of a wolf man. LOL I'm looking at these men's Clippers that seem to be intended for shaving the body. I'm wondering if any of you guys have experience with these and if they work better than using an actual blade. Thanks any tips would be good

i don't have issues with pimples when I shave my arms etc so I don't know how much help I'll be lol. Tried waxing or using nair? I tried nair and didn't like chemical feeling but it may help you from getting pimples.

Hey someone responds! Lol
Yea i have and I get the same effect. What I think I'm going to do this week is by an electric shaver made for the body. Maybe that microtouch. So it shaves the hair but not all the way down into the skin you get it so when it grows back it is still above the skin somewhat I think that might solve my problem. I hope

I had the exact same problem when I used a razor. Terrible pimples, bumps, ingrown hairs. I bought the Philips Norelco OneBlade. It's a little time consuming because it's the same size as a regular razor, but other than that it's great. Its not razor smooth but damn close, plus no more nasty pimples or ingrowns. It's the best solution I have found!

Phillips Norelco BodyGroom :)

This, or a any Wahl body groomer. Wahl products are built solid and have an equally solid reputation for customer service. Ive been using them for years and own two of them.

I use the Wahl re-chargeable for chest, eyebrow, pubic (not balls), armpits, and beard trimming (with guard). I use it without any guard for close trimming and avoid any pimples or bumps. For my arms and legs i use VEET (do NOT use Nair or it will burn your skin!) I leave the VEET on for about 4 minutes and simply wash it/hair off it the shower with a cloth. This combination works perfect for me.

I see there's been alot of good posts about how to avoid the pimples and ingrown hairs.
But in the situation you already have some like me, I had the same issue as @CAswole , how do u get rid of the bumps quicker? Cause I just got them and they are all over the arms?

Honestly bud I fucked up and shaved my arms around July 4th, and they are just about gone away now. I got some benzoyl peroxide 5% cream from my doctor and also am using the Neutrogena salicylic acid body wash everyday. The combination of the two has helped but I also had to stop the cream for a little while because the combination was really drying out my arms and irritating my skin. But it did help. That unfortunately just combined with time is going to make them go away. Like I said it's been two months since I shaved my arm and they have pretty much just gone away around now using those products also. Hope this helps
