What's the goal of TRT? (re TT levels)

I'm 38 on trt, dose of 70 mg a week, puts my levels around 350. My endo says I'm good cause I'm in normal range but I still feel tired.
The average and median TT levels in a 38 year old is around 600. I feel like I should shoot for that? I hear others say shoot for 900, etc.
I do like having hair and I feel ok around 450...
Any consensus or opinions on what I should be shooting for?

From what I recall approximately 150 test enth per week gives the greatest benefits, without undue long term stress.

What blood levels you get from that amount will vary, but it's generally in the 800-1200 range.

I'd shoot for that.

70mg is the lowest dose I've heard. If it's not fixing your symptoms (e.g. fatigue), then what's the point? Sticking a needle in your ass every week for the rest of your life to only get a TT level of 350? Fuck that.

My natural levels were 300, at age 28. Off cycle, my levels never got above 150

Seems low unless it's literally right before your next injection. Either way, symptoms aren't resolving so why continue with that dosage. I'd speak to my doc a little more if I were you

I inject 30 mg every 3 days, so I test it right between injects

If your doc is okay with you being on TRT and under 500, you need a new doc.

A lot of anti-aging clinics aim for 1000 or even 1200. Most people I know through normal docs aim for 600-700.

Maybe that's why I am all tired! I'll aim for 600
What's role of hcg? I know how it works and most people feel better on it, but us is really a necessity? I don't plan on having more kids

You are getting robbed! Weekly appointments? Damn. I get a vial of test depot for 75 bucks and it lasts me 4-6 months. I get 4 refills when prescribed and get my own blood work done so my trt costs 150 a year.
Also, what a hassle with weekly visits, do you ever ask why I have to come here every week?

The goal of TRT is to get serum levels within normal physiological range and alleviate symptoms.

Dr. Scally typically would aim for around 600-700 as a trough level IIRC. If you're going to be sticking yourself with a needle, you may as well do it right.
