Hello Ladies and Gentlemen

BTW I eat a lot. I try for 5 good meals per day. At least 5oz COOKED meat, ton of rice or potatoes, fat sources like mixed nuts/cottage cheese, avocado, coconut oil. And whole milk

Is something wrong that you only eat 5 meals a day??

Dude bump that up to at least 7 plus an intra and post workout shake

I'll add more meals/calories. This type of forum is what I need to slap me in the face wake me up. What I think is a lot must be small compared to what my body could actually utilize. I easily take in 3k everyday but that going to change starting tomorrow. Thank you. Lol this not even my thread.

Forget AAS.
You have no base and no dedication to diet. AAS is meaningless without food.
Ive been around the block and ive heard every lie every gym goer has ever said.
"I eat enough" is incorrect. You really dont have any idea what alot is. I promise you.
When i first broke the 200 lb barrier i thought it was a miracle. Ive been 6'1 since puberty. I was the tallest kid for years in my class till everybody finally caught up at 16 or 17. Early sprouter, skin n bones. But i was strong. U bes believe it. I thought sincerely i was a hard gainer. I struggled with diet. Struggled with putting on weight. I ate till water came back up my throat. I ate till i hated life. I ate till i KNEW i was hitting my cal goals ED. And u have to do it EVERYDAY. One thing i see most common in beginners is they go hard EOD or 3 days a week and go back to eating cereal in the days in between. You said it relax didnt you? Not in this sport. You will have to learn to be dedicated to that damn diet everyday till it becomes life. Till your starving every 3 hours. Till the food and whats in it becomes 2nd nature. I found out im not a hardgainer at all. Lol, i just had no IDEA what a diet looked liked. All these yrs later im stretching the fabric even in the largest custom shirts. My diet is similar to a man whos dedicated and set on building muscle. Go fuckin figure...get what u put in.

My man. Your lazy, misinformed and looking for a crutch. Hang out. Ask questions. Get the big picture down. The VERY last thing is the AAS. Dont be the other way around.
Well said, I'm going to admit I've lost a lot of motivation over the years but I have a lot more discipline these days. I know if I set my mind to diet goals these days, I'm perfectly capable of sticking to them... The issue arises in rather or not I'd be succesful after years of spending a great deal of money on food and supliments and time in the gym. Don't get me wrong I'd LOVE to get over 200 lbs naturally, that would be a dream come true, but at the same time I don't want to continue being that guy who sacrifices so much time and money for little to no results at all.

Well let me lay it out for you...
IF U GO ON AAS NOW YOU WILL GAIN. oh yes, you will gain. Youll feel great! Then when u come off and lose that water weight you will revert back to the scrawny sewer rat u were before steroids. MUSCLE MASS IS BUILT AND MAINTAINED BY FOOD!!!!!

This is going to take alot of self discipline! Gear is a big waste of money if your nutrition isn't on point. Gear will double protein synthesis in the body. You will have to Eat alot especially if you have a fast metabolism. Size and strength come from food. Gear just helps the process. What kind of workouts do you Do? Do you have a 4 day split, 3 days a week, or what? Are you on a certain program for building mass? You will have to find what works for you, but I've seen several guys put on mass and definition on a simple 5x5 workout. This doesn't include warm up sets.
I workout five days a week
I do chest and tris one day then the next day I do back and biceps
The day in between is my day off and I do shoulders the day after and then legs the next day. Take a day off then is cardio day and I start my routine over.

I try to keep my workouts low rep high weight and stay in the gym no longer than 30 minutes so I don't destroy my testosterone levels.

Understood I'm going to try and build a strong base first, my goal is 180 lean or bulky and I plan on getting there within the next 8 months before I think about using gear again.

Dude 3k calories is prob just maintenance calories for your body type. I really think if you try what we are saying, and stay natural you will see results. AAS isn't a miracle drug! You have to put in WORK son! This goes for the Gym and Diet!

Right man I'm not trying to gain a load of muscle only to go off it and lose everything and have everyone looking at me like wtf? Lol. I'm gonna continue going at it natty until I get to at least 180 - 190.

When I was a teenager the guy at my gym told me I need at least 3000 a day or something calories to even gain a pound.

Do you not do any Heavy compound lifts? Dead lifts, RDL, SDL? Military press of any kind?

For a Lil while I was on a 3:1 carb/protein diet. Worked well for a couple months but my weight stalled. Been eating a lot more fat and i feel good. Was eating around 30g protein to around 90 grams carbs. Take it up to 50g protein/150g carbs sounds better ?

Stats?

3,000 calories would be fairly deep into a cut for me...

I've never dead lifted a day in my life. My workouts mostly consist of free weights: bench dumbbell presses, squats, shoulder presses lateral raises, pull downs basic workouts. I always go heavy. I start with the bar bench press every time I do chest day and work my weigh down to flies incline dumbbell presses and even then I do a good 5x5 with 45 pound weights.

Everybody is diffent! The more muscle you have the more Protien you have to Eat to maintain! Depending on bulking or cutting, but normally you want to eat 1 to 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Depending on how hard you work out as well. I workout for 1 to 1.5 every workout

You have no idea what you are missing if you don't do Dead lifts! Your whole body will grow man

Im going to give it a try, it doesn't seem like something you just do by yourself though which is why I haven't tried it. I'd rather do it while being trained cause it seems like one of those excercizes if done wrong over an extended period of time could mess up your spine.
