Sourcing?

So I've been reading...and was considering learning to brew. Not expensive for a DIY operation. Sealed sterile vials and syringe filters....digital stirring hot plate, a decent balance, glassware, pins, etc.

Then I read about bottle top filters and vacuum pumps for larger brews. And autoclaves and stoppers and crimp caps....

Got me to thinking about learning the craft and sending my shit to analyzer and simec. Raws first, then finished oils. First batch that keeps good and doesn't crash I'd use myself as long as it was contaminate free. Then I'd order a big batch of raws and have them tested. Then brew big. Send finished oils out again to verify dosage, etc.

If a source tested in this manner with every batch of every brew, and stayed ahead of market demand, what other complaints or problems would people have? Internet security for sure...but what else?

I'm not saying I'm going to do it....i guess what I'm saying is why not do it? Everybody is complaining about the lack of decent domestic product availability. I work 14 days a month so I'd have plenty of time to do it if I decided to. The equipment overhead is ridiculously low for starting a small business. Profit margins are decent. The only downside I can think of is the illegality of it all.

I was thinking oils only. No pct and no orals.

Of course that's what I mean. And yes it is. That does concern me. Like how do people mail out and track orders without tying them to the source? No tracking then customers could lie about missing packs...so many details to figure out. A consumer gets busted, small time. A dealer gets busted....thats the rest of your life.

That's the debate. Risk vs. Reward. That aside, it's my choice alone. My question is more along the lines of wouldn't it please the community to cover all the bases that they typically nail sources for?

My mother died there and my brother did 25 years. Fed beats state. But the plan would be to avoid that, obviously.

I'm not doing it....I'm asking why if you met all the demands that are typical...cleanliness, ta, testing, etc...what other demands would there be?

If you buy a kg of test for $700 and you bottled 330ish bottles of test. And sold them all for $25. That's $8250. If you sold them all for $50 that's $16500.

The key would be to make some money, and get out the game, and don't look back. Have a figure in your mind get there and don't look back.

Not only that but it's one thing to sell to a couple bros at the gym but a whole other to build a loyal customer base and move a large quantity of gear fast enough to make it worth the risk.

OP isn't the first to think this. Wouldn't be the first to try wont be the first nor last to fail.

Because there is a need for it, and I believe in time I could fill that need. That's how business works. Smart business to fill a needed void.
