If the original attempt at suicide fails, there is only a 10% chance or so that same person will try again.
So it's a social engineering thing? You don't think they have a right to choose their own fate?

Well i feel better now. I wanted to root you out.Rosie can suck masterbot's flaccid, herpes infested penis for all I care. Her views are about as relevant as horseshit during a squirrel orgy.

You passed.
Were good
are you responding to what I write or to what you want to think Im writing?
Wow.Shooter once escaped from NM mental health facility
From the article
SANTA TERESA – Devin Patrick Kelley was a patient at a behavioral health hospital in Santa Teresa in 2012 after he was caught “sneaking firearms” onto Holloman Air Force Base, where he was “attempting to carry out death threats” against his military chain of command, according to an El Paso Police Department report.
Er, you tell me. You seem to think the success rate of attempted suicide by gun is an argument for increased restrictions on gun ownership. I came to that conclusion when you posted gun death stats that included suicides and when I pointed that out you defended those stats with additional stats on the success rates of suicide attempts when guns were used. Am I missing something?

You're missing the part where I said people can't choose their own fate bc I never said that
We're calling it a tragedy with damage control by an armed citizen.ok, going by the numbers. are we counting this " 26 dead and bad guy killed by armed citizen" as a success story?

Maybe also schools, malls, colleges, theme parks, movie theaters, out door concerts. Hell just everyone stay home board up your and houses and only come out at day break for 1 HR! Wrap your kids and wife in bubble wrap and sit on the roof with your AR.i think every church now needs armed ushers.
better put a few more bucks in the collection basket.
It is a logical deduction based on you promoting forced gun restrictions in order to (among other things) reduce successful suicides. If you use force to deny people the means to reliably kill themselves, you are limiting their ability to choose their own fates. It's different from steroid prohibition only by degree.
I never argued for forced gun restrictions to reduce suicides.
You used suicide stats to show a pro gun state had a lot of gun related deaths. When I commented on that fact you defended those stats with additional stats on the success rates of suicide by gun. I don't know what other point you could have been trying to make. Anyway, I was just in the mood for an argument. You usually have more entertaining responses : )
