I've shot plenty of select fire and full auto weapons, though no G18... yet! Three round burst is manageable and useful on a rifle but full auto is only good for suppressive fire or just having fun if you're not actually trying to kill something. Bump stocks are even less accurate.

I've read a few studies suggesting the death toll in Vegas may have been higher if he stuck with semi auto and had more control of where he was shooting.

I'm pretty sure it's classified as a pistol. The guy who built that one is a senior master sergeant and is a true gun guru. I'm just learning but im pretty confident he wouldn't risk marking up his long military career over a illegal gun.

The M16 weighs 7 lbs. That 7lbs can feel like the weight of the world when the senior wants to slaughter yo ass in front of the crew

You'd just think someone looking to cause as much destruction as possible would have been more methodical about it.

Not making light of the people who were hurt and killed, but his motives were purely political and it's working. He bought a shit ton of legal semi automatic rifles and ammo legally, outfitted a few with some shitty - but also legal - bump stocks and made the biggest mess he could. Whoever thought the whole thing up wanted more gun control even with a Trump administration and it looks like they're going to get it.

Dianne Feinstein introduced another bill to regulate, preferably ban, bump stocks and any device that increases the rate of fire of any semi automatic weapon. Paul Ryan jumped on board along with other RINO's and even the NRA said their legality should be reviewed.

They know that no laws they can actually pass would have made any difference but they can't let a crisis go to waste. They'll keep pushing slow but steady to erode gun rights.

It's an idea being tossed around. I could be wrong - maybe he was just a fucking nut with a deathwish - but why would someone with no history of mental illness or knowledge of guns suddenly drop so much money on guns and ammo he knew he wouldn't even have a chance use?

Seems he wanted to make light that law abiding citizens have unrestricted access to weaponry that, while perfectly legal, can cause so much carnage.

It looks like that's a brace without the strap and not a stock so it would be classified as a pistol.
