That's sweet, i really like the ebr chassis as well. Never really got to into the bullpups. The M1A is my second favorite gun i own. It feels like such a good fit when you shoulder it, super comfortable

Totally agree about the comfort...great shooting gun. Don’t think juggernaut makes that bullpup kit anymore tho so I’d just get the socom 16 from Springfield in fde and be a happy camper

I'd grab a scout over a socom personally. I heard some of the gas system stuff is proprietary on the socom, where as the scout everything is interchangable with the standard M1A

Closest outdoor range to me only goes up to 300 yards. If i drove a little further i might be able to find one with longer distances.

Same thing where I’m at...there’s a range that goes out to 1000 yards about an hour from me. Gunna take the 6.5 I build out there and have some fun

Honestly I don't shoot past 500 yards anymore as that's all I have in my back yard and I don't like to drive to other ranges. So much fun shooting from home, 500 is plenty now a days. Also I have never shot an animal past 500 yards... most deer i take are 200-300 yards.

I see what your saying. I just enjoy watching the 1000 yard + milk jug shots on YouTube...looks like a lot of fun and a good challenge

That is exactly what I thought when I bought my wife her Sig 238 HD, if she don't like it, it fits in my pocket nicely but she liked it.
I am guessing she will keep the 300
