Doc, how much moneda for one week all in and which property is that? Looks nice.
We paid about $3100 for 8 days, 7nights for 2 adults, one teenager, one 4yo. 3 of us flew from the US to DR and the teenager flew from Lima, Peru to DR. We would’ve spent less had the teenager been in the states bc tickets from Peru to DR were much more expensive.
Resort is Grand Bahia Principe San Juan. It’s about 20min west of Río San Juan and, 4hrs west of punta cana, 2 hrs east of puerto Plata. Was a 2hr ride from Santiago airport to the hotel

Ahhh, i should have known. Those Grand Bahia Principe's are super nice. And that isn't a bad of a deal either, considering there were four of you and one flight from Lima. Thanks for the detailed response.

Damn! That’s not bad at all. Sounds like the next possible vacation for the fam and I. Gonna do some research, and run it by the Mrs.
Las Vegas in August for me...4 days with me, my brother and my niece. Got some good deals and staying at Ballys as my mom had comp nights on her rewards card so all I paid out for the hotel itself is $87. Airfare for the 3 of us is like $1300 roundtrip. Not a bad deal!
