I know we already have the scenic snap shots thread. This is different though. It has nothing to do with traveling for business or to make any sort money what so ever. This is about traveling for adventure, pleasure or even with your family. I’ve been an traveling fool since I was in my early 20’s.

Where have you been and what did you like and dislike about it. As always feel free to post photos. Since it’s my thread I’ll start.

Kenya was a trip... meaning it was nuts. Other than staying at the mount Kenya Safari Club we were basically staying in these huge tents but on the inside they had full on bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathroom water was heated up in the morning for us. The locals will go out and build a fire under these huge barrels that way we would have hot water for a shower it was crazy. Mount Kenya Safari Club was like a five-star Resort and totally different than the rest of Kenya. It felt very Ritz-Carlton "the English have landed" sort of place.
Everyone should go on safari at one point in their lives, epic adventure.

Kenya was a trip... meaning it was nuts. Other than staying at the mount Kenya Safari Club we were basically staying in these huge tents but on the inside they had full on bedrooms and bathrooms. Sounds dope! I’ve heard good things about Ethiopia too! I have a friend that just climbed Kilimanjaro a few weeks ago. The pictures looked amazing.

It's hard to see it from these angles... But on the right, you may be able to see how there are new looking buildings mixed with old ones. The new ones are where the bombs hit during the war.

My wife us Thai, I've been there 2 times with her and 5 times total. Hopefully we can go back next summer.

Wife 2.0 is still in Thailand, waiting for her visa, should come through in a couple months - the USCIS process is beyond idiotic and wasteful. I'll be back there in October.

I think I have over 40 entry stamps to Thailand.
