Xbox one game pass question...anyone??

I buy this 10$ a month game pass for my son. It's not clear what's included and what isn t, when the games pop up and you select one , I have the choice of "install or buy to own for 24.99$" but next to the game pic it's showing a discounted price, as if it wants to charge money simply to install the damn game. How does this shit work before I incur charges from my son buying everything??

I believe there's only select games can be played for free with the game pass and if you decide you want to actually purchase the game you get the discounted price with the pass.

Put a password verification on purchases if you haven't so he can't just spend money at the click of a button.
