Yessir! There’s just certain things you have to do to keep a relationship fresh and strong throughout. If she puts your happiness above her own then there’s no reason you can’t do the same. If that’s not your thing then be selfish and single. I’ve done the single thing and it’s fun and great and all but truthfully I was selfish and all about me. I’m not saying that’s wrong, it’s just wrong to think that can work in a relationship.

What normally ends relationships is lack of ability to adapt. As you age both you and her... new hobbies or habits form and the old hobbies or enjoyment fade...the lack to adapt and accept, ends the relationship. Just like fall, winter and spring you have to adapt and evolve and accept what season it is.

So true. I been with my fiancé now for 6 yrs. she still holds onto things I said when we first met. For example I said, I’m never getting married again! But as our relationship grew I started having a different mindset. Peoples views and outlooks change with time. My first marriage was the perfect example of what not to do in a relationship. We brought out the worst in each other. I’ve learned and grown from that bad experience.

My first marriage ended after twelve years but took 6 more years to get a finalized divorce. Only because neither one of us put in any effort to get it done. I finally just paid for it all and got it done. It had absolutely nothing to do with my current fiancé staying on my ass to get it done though
