Importance of diet

How important is diet overall to a juicer? I was getting into an argument with a friend of mine and we can't seem to agree on the term "clean bulk". From my understanding as long as you hit a caloric surplus and protein intake goals(1.5g per lbs) does it really make a difference if the calories come from clean sources?

Absolutely and it's where a heavy focus of yours should be. Specific nutrient sources and timing. At the advance level its more than just oh boy, 500g carbs and 350g protein today!

You can take a trt dose and make it look like your on dbol and deca by putting the right amount of the right stuff in your pie whole. Diet IS EVERYTHING. And we are talking with consistency and plenty of stimulation over a long period of time. "Juice" as some folks call it is the finisher and generally used at specific periods of a lifter's seasons at specific doses. Whatever the goal, we always encourage people to reach thier full potential before going to any other lengths. Let's keep it as healthy as possible.

As far as quality goes....try getting 5000+ cals of shitty food down every day.

Digestion slows, you bloat, etc.

Clean foods allow more frequent eating, easier digestion, more bioavailable macros, and much better micronutrient content.

“Clean” eating is just not eating like an asshole.

“Clean bulk” is what every bulk should be. You don’t need to pack on 20lbs of fat with 10-15lbs of muscle.

Throw in some peanut butter, milk and Tren, and I’m up for the challenge! o_O
I love that shit. Put a little on top of a nature valley peanut butter granola bar, yes please. Its just so nostalgic for me, one of the better memories from childhood.

Dude this only works for people in the northeast. If you’re from anywhere else you’re immune to the fountain of youth that is fluff.
dude, they make it in Lynn. Lynn Lynn the city of sin, you'll never come out the way you went in!

What's the point on juicing if your diet is shit?

Clean bulk means about 250-300 cals extra, because anything over that usually means you'll be gaining some fat as well.

And your macros should be on point.

Why don't you do a small experiment with your buddy, let him have junk food and you should have proper clean bulk, by the end of the cycle you'll see a huge difference between the both of you.

I don’t necessarily disagree, and maybe I just suck at speaking to a frame of reference that isn’t my own, but, to me, food source/composition is WAY more important than shown above if you’re concerned with maximizing results and continually driving to higher cals.

I actually tend to think nutrient timing and composition should be flipped in that graph, and it often is in different versions of one of these graphs... Still, the calorie balance and macro breakdown sections are most important to be sure.

If you have calorie balance and macros sorted, then you probably have food composition sorted also.

I honestly cannot stand the term "clean bulk".
