Straps

I just have a set of those old school tan colored straps, love using them when I go heavy. I'm able to concentrate on pulling much better with them.

I also use them for pressing movements.
The flap lays across the palm of your hand and the bar lays across that.... it sort of spreads the load across your hand somewhat.
I warmup and do some working sets without, and use the straps when grip becomes limiting factor.

My problem is lack of upper middle back density, my upper traps are well developed e feel, but the middle traps are the ones that need a lot of work.
Maybe try throwing some chest supported rows in there. Or other movements that take some of the momentum out of heavy pulling movements like barbell.row Etc
