Can one of you sick fucks tell me which blood test to do for a test/tren e blast? My friend is one week in and now has decided to do bloods. I think he’s had 3 or 4 total pins Thanks

Can you quote where over training came out of my finger tips? I trained 7 days a week for along time..also carried this same attitude. Goals and age will dictate recovery processes. Like I said everyone is different, I am glad you could train for 4 hours every day when you were 20 and still progress. I think you deserve a subway cookie.

You said wearing down your CNS, which can be extrapolated to “overtraining.” No need to be an asshole.

Yes, say you were training in the 90-95 percent of your 1rm in a power lifting block( this would be at the end of say a 4 week block) I would recommend a de-load week for CNS recovery. I think some serious body builders could go by the same guideline. Did I come of as an asshole? :) Cookies sound good, haven't had anything bad in a while....

In college I spent 4 hours every single day in the gym and continued to make consistent progress. Overtraining in regards to bodybuilding is bullshit. If we’re talking about endurance athletes, that’s another story. The human body is capable of adapting to nearly everything you can throw at it.

You missed a point. If you train to failure every day, you cannot 4 hours per day, and you cannot go to the gym 6-7 times in a week. Description of true overtraining should be like: Frying CNS before muscles. I was training with some Bulgarian weightlifters when I was young. Trying to reach new 1RM and doing it every damn day was really CNS-burner, and I was at overtraining phase just after a month. Like old good Smolov routine.

CNS is hard to recover shit. Muscles are easy in terms of recovery.

That's also what Mike Mentzer confused before. He was thinking that muscles are easy to overtrain, but when you train to fail with long time of TUT, you fry CNS before your muscles. That's the point. Mike was actually thinking about CNS itself while he was talking about muscles.

You don't think most guys do? I train at a powerlifting style gym, so maybe I am surrounded by more people that would or could wear down their CNS. I still beleive this to play a roll in a bb style lifter also, especially one that trains with serious intensity.

I have learned that my body requires more rest..everyone is different also..there is no fixed guideline to any of this shit.
In BB sets are typically WELL below 90% 1RM and the giant lifts aren’t usually taken to absolute failure, only mechanical failure (or at least I don’t think they should be).

I think CNS fatigue is much less of a consideration when loads are lower, there’s much more isolation work, and failure and volume happen at higher reps (6-8+). But that’s just my theory.

When the fuck did we get cookies.

So would you guys think lifting heavy ass weight over a period of time (say like when bulking, eating a lot, and low reps heavy weight routine) would cause the CNS to suffer more than say lighter weight, less calories, and high reps would?

When I bulk I lift heavy and have a low rep range. After that cycle I usually take a break 3-5 days deloading.
My cut usually consists of lower calories lighter weight and low reps but I also take a break after that cycle.
When cruising I usually just balance the two depending on how I’m feeling on that day. If I’m feeling strong I lift heavy if not I lift a little lighter. Seems to work for me...
Guess I’m just trying to say we all need to take breaks here and there to give the body a chance to heal and recover properly.
