Any of you ever have to fend off rabid Canadian Goose those things are buck wild. I had to use a lacrosse goalie stick to keep at bay while we waited for the bus to pick us up, the fuckin savage beast broke the head of the stick with it’s wing. As soon as that happened we’re like fuck this bolted and realized we were standing to close to its nest. But yea no question duck sized horse all day.
Geese are nuts. Also had a kid in my neighborhood get attacked by a turkey.
Turkeys are out of control where we live. Totally out of control.
I’m contemplating grabbing a bow and “thinning” the population while saving some grocery money.

By hand I would have to choke out 100 baby horses that could take awhile. When I could sneak a side shot on the ducks jaw followed by a fury of more punches and then choke it out and be done a lot faster.

Lot of black bears and deer also.
Truth. The bears aren't a huge bother around here until late fall but the deer population is decent. We have a shitload of coyotes too.
Fishercats. Those fuckers are rare but when they start with their "crying" I get all freaked out. They sound like babies screaming to me.
Loaded with fishercats by me...their squeals are pretty fucking alarming.
You could attack any way you want, just has to be a weapon less game plan.
My wife went into a rabbit hole on this when I asked her. She says one large duck for sure. Little horses charging at your knees and what not, no way to overcome that in her mind.

About 5 years ago we had a quick boom in the population. They've since thinned out but it was nice having them, aside from the noise. The squirrels and chipmunks took a good hit. I'm usually picking those little rodents off with a pellet gun but it got slow for a bit.

Blackbears are crazy right now. Last week one walked 50 feet in front of me and the dog.
There not scared of people at all.
Tons of coyotes and bobcats.
Jesus man, you have a carry weapon? I always have one on me when we are out with the dogs.
Bobcats are without a doubt a normal occurrence up our way. Once you get north of the fellsway you should at least be ready to see some wildlife with claws and teeth a few times a year.

Yeah i always carry a handgun.
Bear just looked at me for a couple seconds and then just walked away. Pretty crazy.
The state forest i go to has warnings all over saying be Bear Aware. lol.
I think CT might open up hunting season for bears. I don't want that.
I'm not sure if massachusetts allows hunting them. I personally have no interest. I'd go deer and Turkey hunting though. You'll find me in a tree with moonshine and a Glock 29 waiting on some unsuspecting animal haha
