What kind of blender do you use?--need a new one

I have always bought the cheapest generic blender and just used the shit out of it for smoothies and protein shakes. Problem is they are loud and take longer then it should
to mix. Anyone here use some of those fancy higher priced blenders? Are they worth
the extra money?
Your opinions appreciated!

Those are expensive af aren’t they?
Yes but they are bad ass.
I put broccoli, cheddar cheese and heavy cream in it and turn it on and let it run for about 5 minutes.
The speed and friction is so fast it starts to boil and cooks it.
Now that is a bad ass blender

Is it just the friction? I thought they had a heating element in them also?

Would love a nice blender but it's really just a luxury imo. My 35$ Costco blender has been doing it's job just fine for years. But if $BTC passes 10k I might just buy me a vitamix

Ninja is bad ass. The single serve one definitely sounds like a chainsaw in your kitchen but who cares?

I have a Ninja. I think it was $150-200 and smoothie mode takes like 55 seconds. It is very loud, but that's not an issue for me.
