Ended up with a Doberman , and she is actually a pretty good dog too. that pitbull tho, she was an abandoned dog. It was her sole purpose in life to make me happy, and she excelled at it.
I've had two go because of cancer! Sucks!
Dobermans always made me nervous, probably because I was bitten by one when I was pretty young. But mostly they seem like good pups
I think every breed has a bad dog mixed in. Honestly I feel more comfortable around Rottweilers and mastiffs and pitbulls than I do pomerians and chiwawa’s lol. With those small dogs you know you are going to be bit lol

My Rot/Lab was the best fucking dog ever. She'd been abandoned, adopted, and then dropped back because she had destructive tendencies stemming from separation anxiety.
Brought her and later a husky home to keep her company during the day. No issues.
Except getting into the fridge. Past multiple child proof locks actually, wound up having to bolt a steel latch to that bitch.
But she existed soley to fuck with anyone that fucked with me. Drove my Bro crazy.
He'd get on some stupid shit and start yelling. She'd whip his feet out from under him. Don't think he made it through highschool with an intact pair of pants.
Then he'd get all but hurt and mad at her. Like...she's not your dog, Bro.
And she doesn't appreciate your tone. Lol.
And the only positive to come out of my last relationship.
The ex took him at about 2yrs old, abandoned him with an aunt for another 8yrs. We got him back and within a week she was screaming at him, telling how much she hated him and wished she'd left him on the farm.
He's super fucking chill, super fucking sweet, and a better dog than she ever deserved.
Just wish I'd known when she dumped him and Mav out there. Maverick (Also Rot/Lab) was super fucking sweet.
