Couldn't stand the boxiness and lines on just about anything from that period.

All the clunkiness of a big body with none of the style.

Mustangs didn't pop for me again until they went back to the fuselage body style in the mid-00's. Kind of in the air on the current generation. I don't understand why they wanted to bring even a hint of Euro style to the quintessential American pony.

But it kinda reminds me of a late 70's 928 Turbo. Which I kinda love.

The Stang took a HUGE nose dive in looks from 74 all the way to the new design in the 00’s like you said. The 74-78 were an utter disgrace. The 70-73 were ok, but nothing great.

Agreed, but they do lol. Gone are the days where being a “vet” means anything to me now. Used to be able look up to them for advice, now they just vouch for each other and live above the law

They were one of the lightest drag chassis you could get, and are still viable today. Allt of people still get foxbodies for that reason.

They all drop Chevy motors in them tho lol
