I can find valuable pieces of character and knowledge to be had from all 3 mentioned.

Haven't seen you around much truk. Hope all is well. I agree with everything you have said and you and I have always handled things in a similar manner here IMO.

What some of the newer guys don't understand is that the attitude brutus, ben and Johnny brought actually were needed at the time and helped make Meso what it is today.

There was a lot of shady shit going on with people being scammed in various ways on many boards. The vetting of potential sources here was brutal because of those and other guys and most didn't make it.

Those that did were generally fairly solid. Which wasn't the case for all of the other paid source boards where anything negative said about a source disappeared quickly.

That atmosphere made Meso a creditable place to vet a source. Sources on Meso today benefit greatly from that with a huge potential customer base.

This brings back memories of the TSL situation on here. People were (figuratively) at each other's throats constantly. Whenever someone made a comment, they were either a shill or an inexperienced idiot. I just stopped participating. MESO is the best source of information on this subject that I have ever found. And I am not going to get into arguing on the internet. Period.

This thread actually got me to participate again. I have no idea about the quality of the gear. I have bought some, but I haven't run any of it yet. I can say that the professionalism and T/A have been spot on. The amount of testing he's done and the amount he's contributed to AL, I have never seen on here in my 3 or so years. That has to be worth some street cred.

Anyway, I am glad you chimed in.

I dont post much nor get involved much, unless its guns or dogs. Im in the older crowd so i dont cycle hard so not much in terms of valuable input unless regarding Primo. But ive been in this thread since day 1.

@TitaniumGear (TGI) is doing everyting that i as a buyer could ask for. I think this thread is mostly just a bunch of guys and a girl that seem to get along well and have many common interests besides gear. I got lost in all this recent shit and honestly dont care.

I still think vetting is handled well here for the most part. In the end it is your choice to inject oil into your body though. So some accountability falls on the end user.

Tit was vetted properly, given a very hard time about low stock, questioned endlessly...time went on..he did the testing he said he would do...offered credit for finished oil testing and continues to do so. Several of us have PIP tested new batch products for free, but mainly to help out the safety of the community.

I think why people jump to conclusions so fast is because alot of us get along well in here. Including the source that has helped many out..patiently might I add and some of these times not even to his own benefit. That says a little right?

I sourced locally for a long time, but could never get any testing info...read on here for a few years before I joined. The attitude back in the day was rough, but I understood it. I still think we have a credible place to vet sources here.

I can get behind that. They paved the road for the future. And that alone commends a decent amount of respect

But, when you treat the new people like shit just because you think you are entitled because of that, I think that’s where the issues comes in with the “new people” vs the “vets”

I used to watch them do it to a ton of sources...new source Friday used to have a lot of traffic...

I am glad they set the tone to help protect us and we will carry that on, but when you fly in here out of right field it isn't a good look in my opinion. Not a chance the most recent ripple in the water read all of this thread...not a chance.

Def if you read back there's been a few guys that have a knack for entertainment when they write. Ben and brutus were some of the best I've read. It was always more then go fuck yourself, your mother or whatever basic insults that normally are thrown around.
