Last time I hunted this was what we got. Sold my rifle years ago and haven't gotten out since. Sure miss it though

When I was younger I went hog hunting a few times at night with dogs and beer. It was fucking awesome. Buddy had a black and tan coon hound who would find the hogs. Pit bulls would grab it by the face and I was in charge of grabbing the back legs! Hahaha! Fucking adrenaline rush for sure. Never hunted with a gun or rifle but I was a good shot as a kid. Of course targets aren't running through brush. Caught a 440lb Thresher shark in Mass when I was a kid too! Grandfather owned 2 marinas. When the guys at work bring up their 5lb bass I spring that on them..

Browning 300 win mag, with Leopold 4x12 scope. 180 grain don't remember much more than that.
The one on the quad was about a 20yd shot. Was allowed 1 buck and 2 does in that area. It was in the willows and had to burn my buck tag on a spike as the spikes were hidden by the willows, me thinking a doe.
The two hanging, the one on the right was mine a 4x4, and the one on left was buddies also a 4x4 but a little bigger. Mine was a 150yd uphill shot. I was a bit low on it and had to track it and haul it out of the Bush.
I did all the butchering, the only I sent in was what I wanted for sausage.

What area was the deer harvested from if you don’t mind me asking? Be from up north the racks were wide, down south they seem to be more narrow?

Same year if I remember right. Had the Moose lined up but couldn't shot t in the area we were in.. the bear however was same day and shootable but couldn't get a clear shot

Hog hunt is on my list for next year. Be breaking out my 450 bushmaster again
Damn, that must have been hard not to pull the trigger on a moose...
What does one of them cost to hunt if you are a resident?

I used to have a grinder but nothing else so was just as easy to send it in.

I live a half mile from saltwater and dont fish, haha! I fished so much when I was kid that it does nothing for me anymore. My son has caught some huge fucking bass in retention ponds here. Florida doesnt really count though.

Smallish chinook salmon and some rock cod
That little fucker was trying to eat outta my garden. Ended up with a .17hmr instead

I used to fish trail creek Indiana for salmon. I thought I was so smart because I didn’t have to pay out of state tags lol
