Old timers like PAIN I would bet aren't that difficult to ID. With enough time and tenacity I bet most could come up with it with google and the clear net. Back in the beginning anonymity didn't seem to be what was being discussed.
BigA, the owner of promuscle and 10 or 15 more forums(anasci, rippedmass, etc) his real name and last known country he ran off to when the hammer fell and ORD arrests began targeting his boards was reported on and placed in the open for all to see. Just takes a little time to find
I would not want to break our rules that may or may not be applicable where I am concerned so I won't post his name here in the open. If I cited the source in a footnote as to where the info I got can be found by anyone that should absolve me of any punishment I would guess.
I used to be able to get ahold of BigKarch(RIP) and depending on how many drinks he had consumed when I interrupted him I could extract all kinds of legal advice. Good man and an even better attorney. He was quite the character.
The last reported country that Big A was supposedly traced to after the indictments were unsealed was Australia, by the way...that was 2008.
 
I think whoever said PM may be behind this may be right. PM is one if the biggest source sites, why wouldn't this guy go after them? Didn't this guy say he was hired? If so, someone is behind this.

yes but would Big A have a good motive for doing that? Many sponsors on ProM also hang out on other forums like S-F.

M&S is a spinoff site started by surviving staff (meaning not named in an indictment) of SSB, the main website and focus of ORD. Some would be surprised to know the owner of M&S. Used to be a friend of mine. Loyalty doesn't mean as much to some. Its a sad day when we find out that our heroes are just flawed human beings like the rest of us.

M&S was also once another board that Gimp and Bluehazard ran until they shut it down sometime in 2010 and I was a member there in 2008. Do you remember that previous incarnation? The domain then passed to D-Red some years later thus became the M&S now.

Achilles87 used to be a member here too...and yes he's a straight shooter.
