Getting away from the cops is the best rush ive ever had. Out running them on foot is crazy as hell too. I was causing trouble as a kid back,in the day the cops came they chased me into the dark woods I bear hugged a big oak tree and didnt move he walked right past me 5 or 6 times yelling that the k9 was on the way. Hahahaha that adrenaline rush was insane.

They can arrest you I guess, but easy to get it dismissed. Smell of alcohol could be from hand sanitizer, glassy or watery eyes cause you’re tired from lack of sleep etc. Without that breathalyzer and sobriety test it’s very difficult. There’s a case we’re a guy was actually intoxicated but the case was dismissed cause the driver went over the divider only a single time lol. I mean yeah I guess if you’re wasted slurring etc or have open booze with you etc. But yes you can lose your license for a year if you are convicted and if you refuse to cooperate.
Also it’s nearly impossible to get an alcohol or marijuana dui dropped to a reckless since the laws are clearly written. For pills tho, it’s much easier since it’s not actually illegal to take a prescribed medication and drive, like Xanax, only a caution. Something like that happened to a cousin, dui initially that was dropped to reckless cause he had therapeutic levels. Had he taken it to trial be’s most likely have beaten it, or had he known back then he coulda told the cop “nah I’m not getting out. Am I under arrest or may I go? If so please refer any questions to my attorney, thanks.” He’d either walked away or gotten the case dismissed quite easily but he didn’t know..

Buddy is a Sarge, why o finally got cut loose. Showed up and flipped shit on the Sarge running the stop. I was a DD at his wedding...with an open fucking bar. I'd have fucking sued if I'd had it all recorded.
Dash came went in both rides the next day.
I got a DUI dropped to a reckless endangerment 4 in Ohio. Cost me 4 grand but

It’s possible but exceedingly difficult to get an alcohol or cannabis dui dropped to reckless, at least where I’m at.
Big red gum, cinnamon altoids. Tbh it doesn’t really matter if the cop believes it, only whether a judge and/or jury believes it depending on how far it goes. Like I said a judge dismissed a case where the driver was clearly drunk, failed a sobriety test, and breathalyzer, but it was thrown out simply because the guy only went over the lane divider once before the cop pulled him over. This is in a state with stricter dui laws btw. They felt like once could be just an accident, needed it to happen more than once to have reason etc
