Deca for Joint Issues

Got proof or just bro science? Would be interesting to see someones bloods from trt and low dose deca. Guys like myself can't take the risk without documented proof or I would risk throwing up red flags on my next labs.

I'm honestly asking. I had heard primo was really the only thing you could run along with trt and it wouldn't effect anything. I'm interested in adding deca as I'm hard on my elbows and knees but would need feedback from someone in my situation and like to see labs.
My labs are proof. I'm on Dr prescribed trt and run deca at 150mg/week. Bloodwork is good.
You can run deca, primo, mast to name a few without skewing test results. I would strongly suggest monitoring your bloodwork and get a full heart checkup especially with the deca.

I will see if I still have my last bloods, but ballpark my tt levels were around 1069, 200 mg/week. Everything else was in range.

Gotcha.. guess I'm more worried about it skewing my e2 reading and if my doc uses a non-sensitive test which Im not sure of. I have an online chart with them and they just post all my info to it but it doesn't show the specifics of the testing.

No my e2 was 20. I do remember that.

200mg is high and top of the mark for trt. How old are you if you don't mind? I take 100mg and not puts me in the 800s. You wouldn't by chance be taken the westward or whatever its called brand would you? I've heard that brand can give you low numbers.

I'm 58 and yeah I think it is Westward. I will have to check. I've been on trt for 15 years. When I started 100mg/week put me in the 800's as well. It's funny how this shit works, but I feel good.

I need something to relieve the pain / ease the pain/pressure on my knees. Partially torn patellar tendons in both and a torn meniscus in my right to add to the fun.

Done Supartz Injections, which is a shot of lubricating fluid that is a synthetic version of the natural fluid your body normally creates in your joints, with minimal improvement, short-lived at that.

Been trying bone broth, as it’s supposedly / said to help with joint issues.

No surgery recommended by my Doc since they are all partial tears, but they are painful as fuck and highly limiting and debilitating. Supposed to start physical therapy soon, but I haven’t even called the PT place yet. No idea what they have planned / intend to do to help. Tore left on 6/1, right (tendon and meniscus) on 6/28 and they haven’t healed / improved much even after taking off 4 months from the gym, working out, sports, etc, and still avoiding any lower body lifts that put any pressure on the front of my knees, knee caps, the patellar tendons, etc.

Anyone have any suggestions? I was taking fish oil and ran Deca (ran out since I only had 1 vial when this happened) up until about a month ago.
Are Supartz injections like the Synvisc injections? I've had a couple before. They did help my torn meniscus for a short time. Eventually got a knee replacement though. I use bone broth everyday with my meals (Vertical diet). I didn't know it had that added benefit, cool.

Ahhh.. thanks bud. I got my trt shot tonight and will be adding a bit of deca with it from here until my doc visit in January. Once I get my labs from that I'll post them. Knowing me, I'll probably do labs of my own a few weeks before seeing my doc.

Dang, I hate to hear you built a tolerance to your trt and are up to 200mg. I recently just got put on at the age of 37 and asked my doc to increase my dose but she won't. Probably because she's saving that for when I actually need to increase.

Than why did he start at a dose of 100mg and 15 years later and he has worked his way up to double the dose?
I would have to know his full history to answer that. Honestly and I don't mean to be rude but he probably just wanted more. There was probably no physical "need" it was probably mental.

This debate has been had plenty of times I didn't mean to attack you.

But the ARs won't downregulate or develop a tolerance the way you mean.

Let me put it this way. IF testosterone created a tolerance, then we would see an increase in testosterone levels as we age because of the tolerance. Right? But that's not the case, and it's for a reason.

Gotcha and I didn’t feel attacked. When he said he was on 200mg for trt it threw up red flags as that’s high but there are cases of it prescribed that high. So I asked him about it and his explanation makes it sound like he built a tolerance.

I’ve seen guys on this board that’s been on trt for 15 years or so and they take around 150mg or less still so I do agree that there probably isn’t a tolerance that gets built or at lest if there is it isn’t much of one.

My honest opinion, when I saw that you took 100mg I thought to myself.
"Finally somebody that is taking an actual TRT dose."

People can do whatever they want with their body. I take excessive doses, I am 32 so still immature and impatient. I have it as a goal to go down to 100mg-150ish/week and take it from there. Haha I have to add 150ish. We always want more huh :D

So this happened tonight at EōS just before 7 pm here. Just left the ER. Pretty shitty. Gotta call my Orthopedic Doc in the morning to see when they want to schedule surgery. I’m fucked for awhile. I am prescribed 250mg a week, and just got Bloodwork back today at 1196. She said, just where we want it. I’m like YES MAAM...

Damn, pretty high dose. Wish my doc would let my levels get that high.

Seems you either don’t respond to testosterone well or maybe you’re taking the westward brand? On a dose of 250mg like yourself I would be more around the 2000 mark. My trt and my last cycle both have/had me at 8x my dose.

Jealous of your 1196 trt numbers though.

OK , so I read through most of the post's here, and still a bit confused.. I am on 100mg of cypi, split twice a week. I'm 67 years old an been pounding the heavy weights for a long time. I was wondering if adding a low dose ( 50mg a week ) of deca to help with joint pain. I get blood work done every 3 months, always coming back good. Opinions?.... Thanks all

Eq is another option. Louis simmons said he has been running it for years and its supposed to have better joint relief ability over deca. I have ran both and eq was amazing for joint strength. I will say when i ran deca i was on accutane which is supposed to cause joint pain. I have no experience running deca that low but it couldnt hurt to try it and increase the dose gradually if it doesnt work. I heard anavar js good for this also and it can be ran at lower doses and is the most mild with side effects out of the three
