There was one though that could have probly knocked out anyone in this forum based on the impacts I was receiving from those dainty little sledge hammers she called hands. Now I did hold her still till she promised to quit hitting me. I was scared I was about to be down for the 10 count lol

Empirical means you can observe it with your senses, record it.
In psychology, if we look at an octopus... They say that an octopus can change color in its sleep. While it is "dreaming" however, how can we prove that it is "dreaming" we can't do that empirically. So if we would describe an octopus' behavior we would call it "dream-like" behavior. But you can't prove there is a dream.

Also, you can't really prove that testosterone or Androgens increase aggression in humans because of the nature of psychology. We both know(right?) that testosterone increases aggression but you can't "prove it."
