Should be red or blue, or a combo of both.

Red = fire, drive, passion, urgency
Blue = Confidence, authority, reliance

Use these colors as weapons! When we see certain colors we subconsciously associate them with things that that will effect our judgement whether we believe it or not. On the corporate scale we are talking millions, but even as a small business if you can make thousands of dollars extra by choosing the "right" colors. Do it!

That's how the big corporations are run. They even put other semi-subliminal messages in. With arrows and shapes etc.

*Notice the ads here? -> AAS = medical so Blue.

Okay, when I say my opinion. I say what I think it best for your business based on the color science.

For automation, your log should be red. If the company is programming, it should be blue. Use a combination of the two if you want but you really should change the color of your logo. It will make you a lot more money without you noticing it.

What companies will do when changing color or name is make the two colors gradient first. Or if a name change using a hyphen and then removing the hyphen/gradient color after a couple months. Gotta get your customers used to the new logo without scaring them off.

You could use a combination of both but black is not optimal for your business. If you don't trust me check the colors of the huge corporations in your field, they have their colors for a reason and it's based on science.

You understand where I am coming from right? I don't want to make it sound like it's my opinion...

Very interesting! I am re branding next year as the company has changed so much that I no longer actually do what my company name says.

I will definitely work that into my new logo!

I completely understand where you are coming from. To be honest I have not looked into this at all as I have been too busy beating the amount of work I have off with a stick!

Thanks

What about farms?

How is the farm used?
Are you selling products from the farm to display? Or is it just a general logo for your farm that you want maximize your "likability" with?

Red for sure on the cider as it is the color of apples too! Red and maybe some hints of green on the other products too.

As blanket advice for all, it doesn't have to be ALL RED but definitely make sure there is a large portion that is red in the design.

Damn. Where do you find the time haha?

Thanks.

I'd love to be enrolled if any help from China or most of the Asian countries. I'd love to travel a lot and sincere to my friends.

This is genius level marketing. Red text. Blue background. Mister clean in all white because white is clean. The x2 stronger, use this type of things in your own products too.. Durafoam, wtf is that? Who cares the message gets passed anyway.

Also 3 products, 3 is a thing for a reason. People like things in 3s

The smile to perpetuate a positive image. Even the white male to relate to as many white people as possible. They made the bald head a trend even, when you can make your business part of pop culture that's when you know you are a giant. Jordans and Starbucks are another example. AND here is what really got me. The earring... How genius is that? A diamond earing for a sparkle, you know clean sparkle..

I own a small business, the service industry is brutal. So many illegal companies who don’t pay taxes, work comp etc. it seems like the bigger I get the less money I make sometimes it doesn’t seem worth the headache. Almost more beneficial to stay smaller

That's why you design a proper business model at the start. Most businesses fail before they start because they don't do the math or proper projections. IME :P

I understand, I had a good business plan but it’s not always black and white. I got laid off from a company out of the blue and dove in head first. It was sink or swim.

Very true.
It's quite easy to fail.
In our first few years, it is unbelievable the amount of times we could have gone belly up.
We didnt calculate growth and the up front cash it would require to feed growth effectively.
We didnt understand how to project that growth and prepare the neccesary capital.

Hard lessons were learned lol
