Fitness mirror, lol

Anyone see the fitness mirrors? Talk abt the ultimate pussification of working out! I love the video advertisements when they show the men using 10 lb looking dumbbells on presses. Hell yea, get jacked with the fit mirror baby! Haha

I don't see that product staying on the market.

Lol I know exactly what you're talking about too

Stuff like this are selling well. Go figure, people want to work out at home so they don't have assholes staring and commenting on the weight they use.

Funny thing is I just don't see how it's any different than a video. But one thing that was cool was some of the older fitness/weight training shows on ESPN. Even if it was a chick they would occasionally feature bodybuilders on those shows

It is selling amazingly well. I was shocked at the recent $4.15 billion valuation for Peloton. It's for people who like the cycling/spin classes but would prefer to have some yelling at them from the comfort of their own home.

Peloton snags $550 million in new financing, valued at $4 billion ahead of expected IPO

It's great marketing. But at the end of the day, consumers are paying $2000 for a stationary bike and $4000 for a treadmill. And we all know how regularly people abandon those.

Keep in mind that not everyone that lifts does so to get big. Many just do it for the health benefits and some desire that skinny-ripped look for whatever reason.

It does seem a big gimmicky, but they're tapping into the wallets of the above mentioned people of a generation that love looking at their own reflection.

When compared to those that only get exercise by lifting 12 oz aluminum weights (to their lips), it at least gets them off the couch and moving.

Yea it'll get them moving for a cpl weeks, haha. I was looking at different fitness and nutrition trends a d this is going to be the year for fit tech shit, apps, at home crap. Then you have group training of course.

Then ppl like us are looked at like we want to eat small children , the women are frightened. So I say, make em all scared as hell, fuck it! Just when they thought you couldn't get any more freakish take it to the next level, haha
