I am really not a believer in the whole gallon of water a day recommendation. I get that it works for some people. For me, it gave me some very unpleasant heart arrhythmia and shot up my blood pressure. Maybe I had some swelling and edema, but I was too concerned about my heart stopping to be worried about such things.

There isn't a single study that recommends increased water intake on DNP.

Your electrolytes were probably fucked beyond oblivion if it did that to you.

The gallon of water per day recommendation is absurd, as are many other recommendations that pop up in DNP bro guides.

If your normally drink a gallon of water a day and that's how much you feel you need to stay hydrated, go for it. Don't start slamming gallons of water a day because someone on the internet said you had to... It's a very poor idea.

Entirely possible. I was drinking about 50% gatorade zero if that makes any difference, I didn't do it on water alone.

What would you recommend?
I'd recommend rehydration salts - like the ones used when you have the diarrhoea. Cheap and effective.

Another thing that has me concerned is that my fraternity brother took DNP back in college (amazing results!!!), but I just asked him about any sides and he said he had cataracts about 2 years after his big transformation (at 23yo).

What's y'all's thoughts on this? I read somewhere that men are equally likely to have cataracts as women. The number point to women because that is the group that was taking it back in the day. I don't know, just putting this out there as a discussion point.

I know this is a sensitive subject on DNP forums... but please fight each other to the death on this :)

Damn, cataracts after 2 years? How long did he run it and how much?

He doesn’t remember exactly how much, but this is what he said via text.

“I did three cycles of it for about a month each and took the normal dosage. I was sensitive and couldn’t handle the a lot.”

He is a tall guy, but he went from obese to normal size in like a year.

The jury is still out on this however, research pointed towards a few culprits. 1) Genetic predisposition 2) Vitamin E deficiency 3) Vitamin C deficiency 4) a combination of all three.

Regardless, the incidence rate is low - around 1 in 1000.
So as long as I’m not genetically predisposed to cataracts (was it cataracts or glaucoma??), and maintain my vitamins E & C, I should be good?

As I said, the jury is still out... But that was the research findings, for whatever they're worth.

Reading your posts, I see you have a ton of experience with this. May I ask how long you’ve used it or how long ago you started?
