That's plain wrong. While for the most of us CoVid 19 is not dangerous we can still infect other people and spread the disease, allowing it to reach more vulnerable individuals. Weak immune system isn't really the issue but the inflammatory response in the lungs (pneumonia). This causes congestion which leads to respiratory failure. It's like slowly dying from suffocation.
According to stats from our hospitals in northern Italy. About 10% of infected require hospitalization. SARS-CoV-19 is proving itself to be extremely contagious, before symptoms, during and even after. It spreads so quickly the number of people infected in a short timeframe is so huge hospitals get easily overrun. Result is not enough beds and ICU so doctors got pick up patients with highest chance to survival. The rest, is left to die.
Some testimony from the inside:
And oh, don't even believe it doesn't effect the young and health at all. Lesser probability, but it's not impossible for me either (30 and healthy) to develop bad pneumonia and die from it. Immune system knows nothing about this virus, has never seen it before.
Take great care.
