How do YOU run your steroid cycles for Powerlifting?

The math says it would take about 550-600mg (off the top of my head)Nandrolone Decoanate, being that we absorb somewhere around 90% of of the PhenylPropionate ester and only about 60% of the Decoanate ester.

The decoanate ester is a very long one and the long half life eats considerably at the actual amount of Nandrolone received.

I wouldn't have thought the decoanatate ester would absorb so little compared to what I had in mind interesting.
 
I've done meets at 198lbs, 220lbs, and 242lbs. I've decided 220lbs is best for me. 242lbs requires too much eating and 198lbs makes my bench suck. I like sitting around 205-210lbs off season and then bulk to 220lbs for meets. That way I'm able to eat to grow and recover and not cut weight.



I didn't realize the deca ester lost so much. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of cyp or enan.
That's nice you know what weight class you fall in and what you can do to maximize the one you have set in for. How many years did it take for you to realize that the 220 class was the most optimal for you? Trail and error I'm assuming with leverages and the comfortable way for you eating without getting to much force feeding involved.

My first meet was 220lbs, second was 242lbs, third was 198lbs, and my last two were 220lbs. Much over 220lbs and I'll have blood pressure issues plus too much force feeding. Below 200lbs my lifts suffer too much, especially bench. I can walk around 210lbs comfortably in the off season without force feeding and still be strong. I just keep bulking and cutting over the years getting stronger and leaner at this weight.

The average person with an "average" metabolism receives around 62% of whatever mg is injected of any compound with the Decoanate ester attached.

So if someone is doing is doing 500mgs pw, they'd actually be getting around 310mgs(+/-)
It's not nearly as much as someone may think.
There's so much science to this.

I believe this is why people react so much differently with NPP and Deca. Same compound, but miles away in form of kick in time and actual amount absorbed.
 
No, from what little knowledge I have.it aids in holding onto muscle while you are in a caloric deficit
Exactly.
No thermogenic properties whatsoever.
Anavar and T3 or Var and Clen.
Var will keep the muscle there while T3 works with the thyroid to burn more fat.
Not a huge fan of clen. Heats your body up about 1°, which doesn't seem like much. Your body is a furnace at that point. I hated the cramps, strength loss, and overall dried out feeling from Clenbuterol.

Ahh. This makes total sense as to why people say EQ sucks, and you need to use a gram to see anything.
 
I've been competing since 2017, I have 3 meets under my belt so far. I compete in the 83 kg weight class and my preferred federation is USPA. Have not yet competed since I turned to the dark side, so I am exciting what numbers I can push this year with the help of the supplements.

Around mid 180's

Training in the offseasons is percentage based off my 1RM for the most part, once meet prep comes around I switch to auto regulating my training with RIR, and RPE. Philosophies and training I learn from is Kabuki Strength, dan green, and ed coan.
I’m running test and deca too currently and I’m 3 months out from the platform. Trying to stay in the 242 but I’m teetering 275 so I might run Anavar this go due to weight issues as well

I’ve ran npp twice and it’s my second run with deca. Surprisingly I haven’t gained a lot of bloat. I expected more but I’m satisfied with the weight and strength gains this go around. Adding 5 weeks of tren ace leading up to the meet so I was on the fence on which oral depending on my body weight at the time. I’m a lifer so I don’t come off. 4 years of b&c. Multiple short Tren blasts with no real issues. I seem to respond well to everything I’ve dabbled with. I also don’t seem to get a lot of estrogen sides. I’m not going for any records atm so as long as I can stay under 275 I’ll be content.

Well I know if it gets down to it I'll water cut and rehydrate at a IV center I go to put the fluids back in my system in time for meet day.

I haven't done a AAS cycle. I have only have used peptides in the past and superdrol before it was considered a steroid.

I’d recommend test only, long ester and 12 weeks. Test c or e at 4-500(2x 200-250mg injects). Don’t complicate your first blast with too many things. You won’t know what’s goin if you have sides. If you eat well and train hard you can put 45 kg on your total on a 12 week cycle. Prob gain about 5kg though. I’d Time the meet to be around week 11 of your cycle if at all possible. Have AI’s, HCG, pct stuff on hand before your first pin.

The weight gain can happened so fast, even on Test.
I'm almost 240 on this cycle now.
Feeling and looking great... but didnt expect to throw this much weight up.

Certainly it's mostly water at this point.
Might have to start running some drier cycles in the future with lower Test
